By far, this is the best sugar cookie recipe I have ever tried and I have been on the hunt for years! Perfect for cut-outs - retains shapes nicely. The sour cream adds an excellent flavor and keeps them extra soft and moist. Baked three batches for valentine gifts and got rave reviews. Be sure to roll them to at least 1/4 inch and watch them closely during the last few minutes of baking. Remove them once a slight golden color appears. As with all cookies, they continue to bake once removed from oven. You won't be dissapointed with this one! Thanks Eileen!
