I made this without a bread making machine...and with my own hard work, it turned out real awesome, everyone loved the frosting as well.

Excellent! tasty, need I say more. The buns were very good, got some good feedback. I doubled the required amount of cinnamon to 4tsp, cut the brown sugar to 3/4 cups and added 2tbsp white sugar to flour mixture. For the icing I mixed 3oz cream cheese, 2 tbsp milk and a few tbstsp of powder sugar. The icing is more cream cheesy than sweet. Its was a good compliment. This recipe is a keeper.

I inherited a bread maker from Grandmother who had passed away and without an instruction book on the bread maker I tried this recipe, and they were fanstastic!

Love them thanks. This will replace my old cinnamon roll recipe that I have been using for 11 years. These are so good. What I like the best is the bun itself is so soft. A little sweet if anything, but that can be adjusted. Thanks for a great recipe.

This recipe deserves a 10! No need to change recipe perfect the way it is. My bread machine did all the work except for the final rising of the rolls. Came out perfect. Will definately make again very soon, no more store bought for me.

Turned out great! They were wonderful, I followed the recipe exactly. Here's a tip for other novice cooks though. Be careful if you roll them out on wax paper. The dough stuck to the wax paper, and I mean really STUCK! It took me forever to get all the paper off.

Beware of this recipe! You'll gain weight just thinking about its wonderfulness!! I just found this recipe, and I have to say it's awesome! I didn't have to taste it to recognize how much the vanilla pudding mix would make it soft, moist and wonderful to eat. I make the dough the night before, adding the walnuts and raisins, of course. I put it in the fridge and take it out the next morning, allowing it to rise. For the frosting, I put a little lemon zest in it. Then I put a pot of coffee on and wait for the praise!

The name describes these perfectly. I used whole wheat white flour, and they were still delicious. Liked them best with no frosting because it made them a little too sweet (and I have a huge sweet tooth). My husband told me he will never be able to eat another cinnamon roll after tasting these!

Granted, this is the first cinnamon roll recipe I've ever tried, but it did come out FABULOUS. I made it without a bread machine: sprinkle yeast over milk and allow to sit for about five minutes or until dissolved and bubbly. Whisk in everything but the flour, then whisk in 1 cup of the flour. Mix in the rest, eventually kneading it by hand until all the flour is incorporated. Knead for 3-5 minutes (dough is sticky but will get more elastic). Put it in an oiled bowl and turn once, cover with a wet towel and put in a 200 degree oven. TURN THE OVEN OFF AS SOON AS THE BOWL IS IN IT. Allow to rise for an hour, until doubled in size. Then follow the rest of the instructions per the recipe. The only thing I changed was I added an extra tsp of cinnamon to the filling and made cream cheese icing: 3 oz cream cheese, 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, 1/2 tsp vanilla, 1/8 tsp salt (omit if using salted butter), 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar. Simply yumtastic!

I followed this recipe exactly as written except I used frosting from clone of a cinnabon (wonderful frosting) this recipe was good but I dont think it is as good as cinnabon, it was soft but not very gooey, maybe next time I'll add extra brown sugar & cinnamon. An over all good recipe but doesn't have that wow factor

These were really good!!!! The only problem with mine was that they didn't rise. So they were kind of dense. But they were REALLY good!!! I will make them again. PS-The amount of milk for the icing is way off. It says 1 tsp, but you need more than that. I didn't really measure how much I put in. I just added milk til it was the right consistency.
