YUM! I had a lot of fun playing with this recipe. I used half whole wheat and half white flour, one cup brown sugar with 1/2 cup white, increased the baking soda to 1 tsp, and added 2 tsp of coconut extract. Then I wrapped about 1 tbsp of dough around a Hershey Kiss for each cookie, then rolled in coarse sugar. They came out perfectly chewy with a great crunch on the outside and a gooey chocolate middle.
