easy to make (even for kids!) and everyone loved the flavor! We topped our breadsticks with parmesan & garlic. Next time we'll top it with cinnamon sugar! A+++ from the whole family! Quick and easy!

This is a very simple, very tasty recipe. The dough was far, far too sticky so I added extra flour. I also added only 1 tsp of sugar. This is a great recipe that can easily be tweaked and changed to make it even better. I will probably be making these every time I serve pasta.

easy fast and good. I used garlic and parm cheese to serve with spaghetti. Rolled out in a rectangle and baked them for about 8 10 minutes on my pizza stone, then I cut them with a pizza cutter to make the breadsticks - kids ate them up!

I think this recipe was pretty good. I didn't do any of the variations others suggested. I did use parmesan cheese instead of sesame seeds though. I think it could use a little more butter to dip in the bottom of the pan and dipping sauce of some sort didn't hurt. It was very good though.

Added a little more flour when kneading because dough was a little sticky. Also used 1/2 whole wheat flour. Instead of rolling it out into individual sticks, i flattened the dough into a rectangle on the prepped cookie sheet, and then used a pizza cutter to cut it into sticks. Instead of the butter and sesame seeds, I used butter-flavor cooking spray and sprayed the sticks, and then added some light spices on top (garlic, onion salt, italian seasoning, and molly mcbutter). Cooked 12 minutes. They were great with spaghetti sauce for dipping.

Really really good. I think depending on your oven you will have to adjust the time as with anything. I am high elevation so I stuck with the temp but only cooked for 12 minutes and they were perfect. The only thing I would recommend as far as assembly is a "healthy dose" of flour on your surface and maybe breaking pieces off the size you want and rolling out with your hands like a rope then flattening just a tad to about the 1/4" size. Just made it easier for me. BUT, the recipe itself and the taste and texture were wonderful! Thanks for sharing

Very good! Of course, I had to tweak... I found the milk to flour ratio to be just right. I added some dried parsley, garlic powder and about 1/4 cup grated parmesan (the kind in the green can). I didn't turn them in the butter, I just brushed it on the top. Also, I sprinkled more parm, parsley and garlic on top. I baked them for 10 minutes at 450. The bottoms were brown but the top was pale, so I gave it 2 minutes under the broiler. I'll make this often since it's so quick and simple. I can turn out a batch of these while DH is grilling steaks. Thanks!

I'll rate this a three, because even tho they are super easy to make,DON'T leave them in the oven for 14-17 minutes like it says, maybe it was my stove but they burned to a crisp! Maybe I'll try again and give you my updated review.

These were awesome!! If you roll them a little thicker they'll have more 'softer' middle and a nice hard crust. I doubled the recipe to make sure I had enough for my brood, and I should have quadrupled it! I didn't want to use sesame seeds, and I wanted to make them a little more interesting, so I added 1 tbsp Italian seasoning and 3/4 tbsp garlic powder in before adding the milk. I actually didn't use all the milk and the dough was good- so be sure you add it just a bit at a time so you stop before you have too much. Instead of dipping them into butter, I just painted melted butter on either side and baked. These are great alone, or with a dipping sauce! Wonderful texture and flavor! And fast!

I have to rate this recipe with 5 stars because it was so quick and easy. I love that the dough doesn't need to rise. I also added a little over 1/4 cup of flour and topped with garlic salt.

We really liked the taste of these breadsticks (no substitutions used), but they were flatter and a little crunchier then most of the breadsticks we have ever eaten. But really, not having to wait for yeast to rise was a big plus, so try this recipe if you are looking for a fast and good breadstick, try this recipe.

I will say that yeast breadsticks are better, but these were tasty. I wanted to add some breadsticks to our spaghetti dinner but didn't want to wait an hour plus. I added a little bit of oregano to the actual dough and then put a bit on top with freshly grated parmigiana cheese. These were great! Even my husband thought they were good and we'll make them again.

These are really good i found if you use cinnamon(to replace the sesame seed) on a 1 tablespoon sugar to 1 and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon they make an amazing sweet treat.
