I have tried many versions of this candy and this is the best one. I put chopped pecans on half and leave the rest plain for the ones that don't like nuts. Trust me and don't let the saltines stop you from trying it. It is so yummy. I call it chocolate crack because it is so addictive.

This is a great recipe! It's easy, and fun to make with kids. I do recommend using a candy thermometer and bringing the sugar/butter combo to about 290 or so; candy is science and it helps to have an exact measurement. I used peanuts last time instead of walnuts and it was excellent!

I would give this a hundred stars if I could OMG this stuff is amazing!!! I am the person with the absolute worst sweet tooth ever and this stuff was so sweet I could only eat a couple of pieces and that NEVER happens for me. I can't believe nobody mentioned that this tastes just like a heath or skor bar. This really couldn't be any easier or any yummier. I will be making this all the time now. Try it it's awesome.

Very nice! I had these years ago made by someone else and they were amazing. I had only some roasted/shelled/salted sunflower seeds and they were very good with the sweet chocolate and penuche'-like brown sugar on the cracker.

These are awesome! So addictive. I nixed the walnuts 'cause I don't like them and just put some sprinkles on (it was for a holiday party, so they were Christmassy) and they were fantastic. Also good with crushed candycanes on top!
