These are great! Thanks for sharing. I rolled them into duck and heart shaped cookies for my sisters baby shower and they are excellent!

this recipie was very good! i made the cookies half sized and i needed a little more cinomon-sugar but they were a perfect size and were soft and delisous. i also tryed adding some penut butter to one batch and they came out very well but i would sugest adding only 1 1/2 teaspoons per dosen where as i added about 2 1/2 per dosen. i hope you all like this resipie as much as i did!

honestly....these came out hard as rocks. there was way too much flour called for and the dough was awful even. i made the snickerdoodles III recipe after and they came out soft and amazing.

My 5 year old granddaughter "helped" me make these delicious simple cookies. We had fun making them (very easy) and more fun eating and sharing them.

A terrific basic snickerdoodle recipe. As I generally do, I replaced half of the shortening with locally-made organic butter. The result was a more buttery taste, but still a light, soft cookie with just the right hint of crackle on the surface.

They were easy and fun to make but the cream of tartar taste was too strong. Also, they all came out flat. Next time I will refrigerate the balls before baking. I thought they could have been better.

My first time making these - delicious! If your cookies come out crunchier than you like, you may have overcooked them (I did that on my first ovenfull). Also, I've found that a few seconds in the microwave (10-20 for 1 or 2 cookies) softens them up & makes them taste oven-fresh again. Yum!

I made these for Christmas. They are light and taste almost like Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal. I used butter instead of shortening and a lot of cinnamon sugar to roll the balls of dough in.

Tastes just like mother's snickerdoodles she used to make every Christmas. Thanks for a great recipe! I took the advice of others on here and only baked mine at 375 for 8 mins. - perfect! Also, only dipped the tops in the cinnamon sugar so the sugar wouldn't burn on the bottoms.

OMG!!! These have to be one of the easiest cookies I've ever made and they are just yummy. I made them to compliment my christmas cookie tray and between my husband and kids ate them before I could even put them away. I will absolutly be making these a lot more often.

This recipe is GREAT! My cookies turned out perfectly! My husband told me to "Keep this recipe around!" He gobbled up 3 as soon as I transferred them to the cooling rack! I dipped some of them in plain white sugar for more of a "sugar cookie" effect and they are also delicious! Two thumbs up!!
