Very easy. I used whole wheat flour and it came out great. I did decrease the cloves in the applesauce version down to 1/8 tsp. I made mini muffins and omitted the nuts from both variations and added mini chocolate chips to the banana and chopped apple to the applesauce. I took them to my mom's group and all the kids AND moms loved them!
