My family liked them a lot. I made them without the walnuts and the powdered sugar. They were like a light oatmeal cookie.

Very easy to make. I really liked working with the dough. I made a batch with the white cake mix and walnuts, and made a batch with strawberry cake mix and almonds. Turned out great. Next time I'll try using chocolate cake mix.

I made these cookies for my husband and son in law and they both said they were the best cookies. I used grape seed oil instead of light olive oil. I "dusted" the cookies with sifted powdered sugar instead of "rolling" them (it was easier).

These cookies are quite tasty and so easy to make. I didn't have quick but regular oats and I used vegetable oil. Turned out great.
