Had to use what i had on hand, mini marshmallows and chocolate chips. Turned my oven to broil and held it right underneath the heat. It browned and melted in secs. So simply and delicious!! Will make these again for sure!!

I love smores. Try replacing the chocolate with a peppermint patty or add sliced bananas with your chocolate. Yum!

Extreme!!! Sometimes, for indoor s'mores, I microwave the marshmallow for 20 seconds. If I run out of chocolate bars, I substitute them with chocolate chips. These are soooo good!!!

Great little snack, but really messy to eat. Not an indoor food for little fingers unless you don't minds lots of sticky melted marshmallow and chocolate everywhere.

My, this is HEAVENLY :D I used chocolate grahams, and I happened to have cactus chocolate. The cactus chocolate was really good, it had a hint of mint without being without the icyness. I think this would work very nice if you used Andes mint chocolates or some other mint wafer chocolate!

One a recent camping trip with some redneck friends i was introduced to a new version of smores that were surprisingly delicious. Instead of taking a hershey choc. bar they used choc. cake frosting and added jiffy peanut butter to the mix. If you love reese's cups you will love this spin of a classic recipe!! Yummy!

You've gotta love S'mores!! We make them inside all-year long: break a graham cracker in half and place both halves on a piece of foil - place a marshmallow on one half and put the chocolate on top of the marshmallow. Use a toaster oven to toast (medium heat), and watch it - making sure it doesn't burn. Remove from the toaster oven and press the other graham cracker half on top!! P.S. I like to use Peeps marshmallows too! :)

Okay, this is probably one of my favourite recipes of all time. A couple things that I have found in my experience, however is to make sure you use campfire type marshmallows, they don't expand and fall off the fork as much. The other thing is that if you like your chocolate melted instead of hard you can also, while you are roasting the marshmallow, put the chocolate on one half of your graham cracker for about a minute or so before your marshmallow is done and it will get it to just right. Make sure you be careful after that though as the graham cracker gets very hot. Tastes wonderful though!

I usually use caramilk bars for the chocolate. Regular chocolate is good too though.

I have never seen an actual recipe for s'mores, but this one is perfect! I have been known to keep the ingredients on hand year-round and make them on the stove top. But if you have kids, don't let them catch you doing this!! Of course, there is nothing better than a bonfire, but I do love s'mores..

These are sooo good! I also have been known to make "indoor s'mores" when I have to by using the oven or microwave, but roasting the marshmallow over fire puts these over the top!

Made these for my son tonight (hubby and I ate the Microwave Peanut Brittle). He ate this up like nobody's business. I had forgotten how much I loved these as a kid...definately something for those warm winter nights. Thanks for the post.

We love making S'mores on camping trips or in our back yard fire pit. But sometimes instead of a chocolate bar we use store bought chocolate icing. We have also used peanut butter as well. Both help keep everything sticking together and guaranteed your chocolate bar won't fall off!

Nothing beats a real s'more, when you've got a fire to toast the marshmallows. In a pinch, I've been known to toast the marshmallows over one of the burners on our gas range!

You want to REALLY jazz up your S'more? Use different chocolates and for that final touch wrap your finished S'more in tin foil and toss onto some hot coals from the fire, wait a 2-3 min or until the chocolate is nice and soft. Talk about a GOOEY treat!!!
