this was a good spread for crackers - my wife ate it with celery and loved it. I did not have smoked almonds so I added a few dashes of liquid smoke as other reviewers suggested.

I have made this on a couple different occasions and it has been a big hit. I put it in phyllo cups for an appetizer also used in a sandwich loaf.

OMG! This is so good, a keeper. I added liquid smoke to my almonds when I chopped them in the food proccesor. The honey adds the right flavor.

This was even better than I expected; easy to make and my guests loved it! I used the breast meat of a rotisserie chicken to make it moist. I will make this often!

Excellent! I was worried the smoky flavor would be a bit much, but not at all! Only mildly smoky. Love this recipe!

I made this for a happy hour get together and served it with herbed focaccia that I had toasted on the grill. It was a huge hit! Thanks!

I made this appetizer for refreshments after church, and after tasting it I decided to also make some for Easter dinner at my mother-in-law's. Raves and requests for recipes at both places. And my kids and husband didn't mind one bit eating it twice in one day.

This is the best chicken salad recipe I've ever had! I added a touch of liquid smoke, because I couldn't find smoked almonds. I used this as chicken salad on bread instead of as a cracker spread. You simply have to make this!

This is one of the FIRST times that my mother-in-law ate one of my dishes and raved about it. Everyone hovered around the table, afraid to try it thinking that it was a crabmeat dish (they don't eat seafood), but once they found out it was chicken, they dived in. I have to say that the smoked almonds are pretty clever! They add a distinctive flavour and texture that is refreshingly unique. A glorified chicken salad that would be wonderful on a toasted multigrain bread too!

Dash of liquid smoke & prepared in food processor. Mixed plain chopped almonds before putting on Ritz and sprinkled with parsley for color. Thanks for the nice recipe.

Unbelievable! divine! I also added some garlic powder and some rubbed sage. I served it on fresh french bread and everyone is raving. It needs to be classified as chicken salad though; when I searched by that title it didn't come up but when I searched by ingredients it did. This is amazing chicken salad. The best.

Mary Beth, your recipe is growing "famous" in our little circle. The only add I'd like to make is using the food processor for all ingredients -- makes prep a snap. And I've stopped adding the seasoned salt -- instead adding a little dash of liquid smoke. Fabulous spread and great on pita bread, celery sticks, anything. Thank you so much!

This recipe is absolutely perfect as it is. Don't change it! The smoked almonds and honey really set it apart from other chicken mayo dips, and even though I'm not a huge celery, fan I can certainly say that it compliments the dish. It doesn't have that overwhelming "celery taste" at all. Served it with Ritz crackers at the last superbowl party. What a hit!
