Smoky Cheese Spread

"My cousin shared this yummy spread recipe with me. This tastes like the 'expensive stuff' in the gourmet deli section! Better if made a day or two ahead. Serve with small firm crackers."

Ingredients

  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 dash liquid smoke flavoring

Directions

  1. Blend cream cheese, Cheddar cheese and liquid smoke in a small mixing bowl, cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Serve at room temperature.
