I remember using a slow cooker recipe like this one. I lost the Betty Crocker mini cookbook which contained it and I was so happy to locate this recipe using the ingredients search function here. Sadly this formula is too sweet and the cooking time renders the frozen green beans and baked beans to mush. In hindsight, I'd suggest fresh beans, no brown sugar and a 28 oz can of baked beans.

this is absolutely disgusting! the sauce is way too sweet for the green beans and lima beans. maybe it would be okay with just the baked beans and sausage. save yourself the bother and just buy a can of pork and beans.
