I enjoyed this. It seems to be missing something. I used the leftovers to make burritos. Very economical!

My family is not really big on chili, but my husband and I both liked this recipe, and so did one of our kids. I used chipotle diced tomatoes and chipotle hot sauce since that's what I had on hand, and it enhanced the smoky flavor of the chili. I also omitted the habanero pepper and red pepper flakes and halved the other spicy stuff because of the kids. I would make this recipe again.

Made this last week and it was truly delicious. Followed everything to a "t". Worked well and is better the next day.

I loved this!! The only thing I kept out was the beer (beer's for my belly, not my chili!), the habenero and the hot sauce. The habenero I left out because that'd be too hot for hubby, although I'd like the hotness. I left out the hot sauce because I find that it makes dishes bitter tasting. This is a keeper!

My first turkey chili. I added some things, more garlic, cayenne, onion powder, vinegar and a small handful of brown sugar. Very good! Would remake.

I was a litte heavy handed with the chilli powder (according to the rest of the household, not me!). Also I used just plain Fry's cocoa not the packets of instant stuff, I'm sure it makes a difference. I'll do that next time. We loved it, and the boys took leftovers for work 2 days later - even better!

This is by far the best CHili I have ever made. My husband told me to toss all other chili recipes and only use this one. The habanero pepper and hot chocolate were perfect otgether.

Awesome! This was *very* tasty. I did omit the habanero because I'm a wimp, but the chili still had a good amount of spice to it (in my wimpy opinion. hehe!). I halved the recipe, but still used the full can of kidney beans. Since we really like alot of both beans and tomatoes in our chili, I also added a can of pinto beans and a can of chili-ready tomatoes. The only other change I made was to use red bell pepper instead of green, as that's what I had on hand. Very good, thank you!

Wonderful flavor! Served over penne pasta for a smokey chili mac. I made some substitutions, simply for the fact that I was out of some ingredients and it turned out great (kidney beans=black beans, tomatoes and sauce=fire-roasted tomatoes, hot cocoa mix=cocoa powder, habenaro=pablano)

Really good recipe. I used japeno instead of habanero. I just wasn't brave enough for it. It's really tasty and yield a lot!! Fairly easy to make except for all the chopping but it wasn't bad. Next time I'll probably do half habanero and half jalapeno because it's not as spicy as I was hoping. Good luck!

This chili is soooo good!!! Granted you had better like it spicy! I did add a large can of tomato sauce to the recipe and an extra can of chili beans - and I cut the turkey back to 1.3 lbs. This was delicious!!!

I love chili on a cold winter night. I am on a diet and thought I would have to give it up.. not with this one. Used lean ground Turkey and there was very little fat and low in calories. I couldn't tell it wasn't beef in the chili. Tasted great! (I had to use jalapeno pepper because my local store was out of habanero peppers- It was still PLENTY spicy!) We used the left overs the next day for chili dogs.

This was absolutely delicious! I omitted the habanero, the red pepper flakes and the hot sauce (sadly my husband doesn't like spicy - I, however, love it!) and it was still wonderful. Thanks for this great recipe!

YEEHAW! I stuck to the recipe pretty much except I did not add a habanero, and it was plenty spicy. Also, I cooked this in a slow cooker for 6 hours as others suggested. I did add the corn in the last hour but I put the kidney beans in before slow cooking and they didn't get too mushy.

at my job, we were having a chili cook off for fun. Everyone LOVED this chili! There wasnt any left for me to take home. Some people did say it was a little too spicy but they loved the flavor. Also, Noone could have guessed it was turkey.

While I'm a big fan of the "Chili Rick's" recipe on this website and won a chili cookoff using that recipe, that's not a chili that you want to make too often seeing as it is totally unhealthy and fatty. So I gave this one a try so that I can have a more sensible option and I was not disappointed!!! I followed everything except I omitted the corn. I did find that it was VERY thick so I threw in an extra 15oz can of tomato sauce at the end. It's not a huge batch so it didn't last long, but it is certainly guilt free.

Didn't have a particularly unique flavor, but a very good standard chili recipe. I used half the amount of turkey and double the beans. Didn't add the habenero and still thought it was spicy enough from the pepper flakes. Ended up adding a lot of extra salt and a big splash of red wine vinegar to bring out the final flavor a bit more.

I am just getting around to rating this, but have been using it for years! We and everyone we make it for LOVE it, we live in Philly PA and when it gets cold all our friends ask me to make this. The only changes I make is after the pan I put it all in a crock pot for like 5 hours...it makes it all come together in a thick sauce
