My kitchen was in need of "restocking" last night and I was looking for something easy and good to put together. This made a great and filling dinner! My family loved it. My husband even made it into tacos with a little salsa and it was wonderful that way too!

I didn't have any potatos, and I used cheddar instead of American. Very good and different.

This was a very quick and easy dinner that tasted really good. I don't usually eat smoked sausage, but I didn't mind them in this recipe.

This recipe was hearty and easy. I did substitute milk for the water, and I used sharp cheddar. It gives it a nice edge. It was nice to have breakfast on the table within minutes and only have one dirty pan!
