This turns out perfect each time. Husband and I have travelled for a couple of Thanksgivings and I always take the crockpot so that we can stay in and have a meal with all the fixins. Don't wait for Thanksgiving. This is so easy and soooooo good you can have turkey bready anytime!

Wow! Made as written with the execpt I had 2 3 lb turkey breast. I also buttered the bottom of the crock pot as suggested by many veiwers. The meat fell off the bone after 6th hour. This is a keeper. Thank you!

For some reason this didn't work out for me. After only 4 hours on low, the turkey, though sitting in a pint or so of its own juices, was dried out on the inside and had no flavor. I used an onion soup mix that did not have MSG. The leading brands have MSG. Maybe using MSG would have made the recipe work.

Very good and super easy! IMO no need to cook on low... I just cooked it on high the whole time (about 4.5 hours) and it was incredibly tender and juicy. Per the other recommendations I seasoned with salt, pepper and thyme, drizzled a stick of melted butter over the whole thing, and added a little broth to the bottom (it doesn't actually need much broth if any at all).

Too easy for how great it taste. I've had to share the recipe with with everyone who has tasted it. I add a stick of regular salted butter to the bottom of the slow cooker.

I cooked my 3lb turkey breast this way last week, and we have been nibbling off of the leftovers ever since. It is the best turkey I have EVER had. It was so easy, it was very juicy, and it had lots of flavor. I am thinking about buying a bigger crock pot so I can cook the entire Thanksgiving turkey this way later this year. Thank you so much for sharing.

Tried this before XMas, my husband and I loved it . I used a 6 lbs small utility turkey instead - cause did not have a breast ... just fantastic. Can do pulled turkey sandwiches, etc... very versatile recipe

Great turkey recipe! VERY moist and delicious! I made this for Easter dinner for the entire family. I modified the recipe a bit using the onion soup pack and adding poultry seasoning which consisted of sage, thyme, rosemary, Black pepper, and clove. Rubbed the outside and inside of the turkey breast with all seasonings. I used about 4 Tbs of melted butter drizzled on top and 1/2 cup of low sodium chicken broth. I had a 9 lb turkey breast because I was feeding several people and it was the perfect amount to go around! Got many compliments on this, Will be making this recipe again for sure!
