Great recipe! Followed exactly but cooked 10 hours on HIGH. Great sauce. Cool sauce in freezer. Skim fat. Reheat.

Made this exactly like the recipe says and found I needed one more hour (total 7 hrs.) on my Rival Crock Pot (mine has four settings 4-6-8-10 hr.) I did it on high "6" and then added one hour. It was very easy to pull apart, but I like a heavier sauce, so we served it at the table with Jack Daniels Original Recipe BBQ sauce and it was super tasty. I'd definitely make it again.

So good....skipped the vegetable oil and used cooking spray instead, skipped the onion because I didn't have one, and used Famous Dave's original BBQ sauce. Cooked on low for 10 hours and it turned out great!

This was my first time making a pulled pork but omg it turned out amazing. I had to alter the recipe a bit due to lack of ingredients, I used beef broth instead of chicken, didn't any of the vinegar, onion or garlic cloves (used a bit of powder instead). I also didn't have any brown sugar, lol! But its obvious you can work with what you have and still make it work. I'd say the two key elements are the broth & bbq sauce! I cannot wait to make something like this again! Just delicious!

VERY GOOD! Used 2 lb pork shoulder with bone in. High heat 4 hr, low heat 45 min and was done. Used white wine vinegar (had on hand).

Didn't have a pork shoulder roast in the store smaller than a 7 lb., so I adjusted the recipe accordingly. IMO, this just isn't worth the time and what little effort it requires. We found it rather bland tasting, even after adding a little more Bar-B-Q sauce and all seasoning after removing the roast from the liquid. Have already deleted from my recipe box.
