i treid this and did like it i just think a better grade of meat makes this dish better you can cook it the same with a lot of different meats it just seemed to me that the round steak got to dry will cook it at a low setting next time

Fairly good, but needs salt pepper and a little more spice. DO NOT add more wate to this recipe. The vegetables and meat mixed with the soups and water are enough liquid. I didn't think so. That could have been the reason it wasn't as tasty as I would have liked . Overall a good working mom's meal.

This was VERY tender, I loved it! I only cooked it for 7 hours and it came out great. If you like pot roast you will like this, and using a round steak is much cheaper than a whole roast.

Excellent flavor! I prepared it the night before, refrogerated it in the crockpot and turned in on before going to work. It was ready when I got home! Excellent!

This recipe is EXCELLENT. My changes were: I always brown my meat first. I substituted Tri Tips with great results.And I ALWAYS, ALWAYS substitute Cream Of Celery for mushroom for a much more delicate gravy. Yum!!!!!!

This was fantastic!! I've always loved round steak in the crock pot, but had never done the whole meal in it. I added some sliced fresh mushrooms before I added the gravy, and it turned out great! Will make this again.

My family enjoyed this very much. Quite tasty and very easy to prepare with on-hand ingredients. I especially appreciated the ease of cooking in the slow cooker which didn't heat up my kitchen. Wonderful recipe - definately a keeper!
