I really liked this recipe. I made some adjustments after reading the comments. I added two cloves of garlic and half of the onion when I cooked the meat. I also added some worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, cumin and paprika to the meat. We really loved it! Thanks for the recipe!

Very good. A bit too much for my crockpot (It's a 4 qt, I think), as it boiled over a bit at the end. Good thing I was home. I do believe I'll halve it next time--makes a ton! I froze a good portion of it and took some to a sick friend. It has a good flavor, and if I wanted more of a chili, I'd say there should be less liquid, but since it's a soup, it works well. I used some seasoning with the ground beef, and added the amount called for to the soup, so I used more seasonings than it called for. I don't have onions right now, so I put in dehydrated onion and added onion powder. Also tossed in garlic. All in all, very easy and a good meal. Thanks!

Very good! Some changes I made - used black beans instead of chili beans and ground chicken instead of ground beef. We topped with cheese and added chili powder to our bowls to adjust the heat to our tastes. Outside of this sodium (and the added cheese), this is a hearty, healthy meal!

This recipe is so easy to make the night before then just start your slow cooker while you are at work. When you come home it is ready to go with shredded cheese, sour cream and some corn chips. The recipe also makes a lot so you have lunch the next day. I was super happy with the results!

Great fall recipe! And the best part is that you can play around with the ingredients to use what you already have. I even threw in some elbow macaroni (to use it up) and it turned out great. Typically soups like this taste better the next day - but by then, my macaroni had sucked up a lot of the liquid, keep this in mind so you can account for it. :)

It was ok, but certainly nothing special in the flavor department. Was quite easy, though!

I tried this the other night and it is very good. I think I followed the recipe to a 'T', except I used ground turkey instead of beef, just because I always do. It's sort of like a cross between chili and vegetable soup. Very good!

I have been looking for a slow cooker recipe for tace soup and love this one! I accidentally added 1 can of black beans instead of kidney beans so then added a half a can of kidney beans to the pot in addition to the chili beans. It turned out great. I'd probably make that "mistake" again as we love the taste of black beans and they cook down more than the kidney beans.

This was very good. the only thing I did different was cook it on the stove and put the onions as a garnish. I would have liked it a little more spicy but with 3 kiddos you cant always do that!!

This recipe was extremely salty...I think it was because I added a cheap package of taco seasoning to the mixture in addition to the meat. I probably won't be making this for a while.

Excellent soup! Followed recipe except for using green onion instead of regular onion - ran out. Tasty, great for cooler weather. With all the beans - probably VERY healthy. Margaritas weren't bad to boot!

Tastes like a taco in a bowl! I made the following modifications: used 3 10oz. cans of Rotel in various flavors instead of the diced tomatoes, used 1 Corona instead of the water, added an extra 1/2 packet of taco seasoning (low sodium), and added about a teaspoon of cumin and a few tablespoons of garlic. We served over Fritos corn chips and with shredded cheese and sour cream. Definitely 5 stars with these modifications!!

Added the ranch mix, garlic and taco seasoning while browning the sausage. Otherwise kept the same. WONDERFUL with sour cream and cheese added in at the table!! Oh, and I only had it in crockpot on high for 2.5 hours.
