This was very easy and a nice quick and hearty meal. My husband did comment on the consistency of the meat patties, as some of them fell apart in the slow cooker. I'm not sure what can be done to bind them better, but I will investigate for next time.

This was super easy - but a word of caution. I found it to be super salty as well. My suggestion would be to use the lowest sodium soup and mix you can find, otherwise it will be way too salty. Other than this, I would have given it 5 stars. I was so amazed at the Salisbury taste and how easy it was.

This recipe was a HUGE hit with my husband. I didn't have any au jus sauce mix, so I improvised with brown gravy and worchestire sauce. Turned out fantastic!!!

For a much more simpler meal, I bypassed making the patties myself. Six frozen 1/4 lb. patties, two cans cream of chicken, one package of dry au jus mix, and water. In the crock pot on low for seven hours. Great salisbury steak. Thank you for the recipe. (I did forget the onion I wanted to put in the bottom of the crock pot)

This was just okay. My three-year-old loved it and asked for seconds, but I found it way too salty and the flavor reminiscent of a salisbury steak TV dinner.

This recipe is very good!!! I used one pound ground venison and one pound ground beef and it came out very tasty, and the gravy is to die for!! The recipe is pretty much fool proof, you won't be disappointed.

I followed this recipe with the exception of using 2 cans of the reduced fat/sodium cream of chicken soup and adding some sliced sauteed onions. Our family did not find it too salty at all and we enjoyed the meal very much with some mashed potatoes, green beans and dinner rolls. I will definitely be making this recipe again in the future.

Very good! I only used one can of the cream of chicken soup because I thought it might be too much chicken flavor, but I didn't have enough gravy. Next time I think I will use 2 cans, but use 2 packets of the au jus. Very moist and flavorful patties. My husband said it was not like Salisbury Steak- but he really liked it!

My 10 year old son who deems himself a Salisbury steak expert asked me never make this recipe again. He rated it two stars for flavor and one star for "after effects." Even with reduced sodium soup the recipe remains too salty. In addition, the meat takes on an odd flavor, in my opinion.
