I hate ground beef recipes but the rest of the family likes it so I looked for something new to do besides meatballs, burgars or meatloaf. We loved it! We'll be making this again soon.

Very, very good. I used only cream of mushroom soup and added mushrooms. Meat was tasty and moist, yet firm. I used only cooking spray in skillet, and did not dredge the meat in flour. i'll make this again! Kitchen Witch

This was very good! Even my pickiest eater liked it, and everyone asked me to make it again. If you have one of the new slow cookers (the ones that run hot), you probably don't need 5 hours in the slow cooker. Mine were done in about 3 hours. It also makes a huge batch - cutting in in half would have fed my family of 5. The only reason I'm taking a star off this recipe is that it's very salty. I made some adjustments after reading the review, but it was still pretty salty. Next time, I'll probably use low sodium soups, and low sodium beef broth in place of the au jus mix.

My family loved this. I did cook it on top of the stove for times sake. I only gave it 4 stars since I did follow some of the changes others made. I added some worchestershire sauce and used cream of mushroom soup. Everyone said that they would eat more but were too full. Definitely on the meal rotation. Oh I also, didn't use the oil or flour. My daughter can't have very much fat due to gall bladder issues and with the changes she had no problems.

This was SO salty ! I guess you had to expect that with the Au Jus (salt) and Cream of Chicken Soup - more salt.

We very much enjoyed this.My daughter said it smelled like Ikea meatballs, which gave me the idea to use lingonberry sauce in it (or could use cranberry sauce)which gave it a nice tangy taste if you like that sort of thing. (Use to taste start with a little and see how you like it) I know some people don't like it when food alterations are posted, however I always like it when I find some changes or substitutions as it give me ideas sometimes I make it exactly as show and sometimes I venture out a little bit. Thank you for posting this recipe without this post I would have never have thought of making this to begin with. Now I have a keeper that my 18 year old loves.

awesome! All I did differently was cut everything in half. Despite the "recipe Police" I enjoy seeing changes that people have made so if I don't have all the ingredients, I can see what works.

This is a good recipe for students in the dorm, and people who can't cook. For this reason, only, you got a 5!I haven't tried it, nor will I ever....nice try, it has a purpose, just not mine.
