It came out swimming in grease. We had to throw it away because no one in the family wanted to touch it. And we followed the recipe exactly.

I made this for the first time for the kids' dinner, as I was going out to dinner with the wife. However, after I had taken a taste of the salisbury steak, along with some of the rice topped with the gravy, I didn't want to go out for dinner. I didn't have a choice though, since it was pretty much all gone. I will definitely make again.

I have been using this recipe for awhile now and I think it is the best Salisbury Steak recipe I have ever tried. I make it with Ground Turkey and I add Mushrooms. One time I substituted Brown Gravy for the Au Jus since I was out and it came out delicious!

This was very easy to make. I used two cans of Cream of Mushroom soup instead of the Cream of Chicken soup. This recipe is a keeper. My whole family enjoyed it.

This will be one to make because it is so flavorful and simple. I was suprised how good it really came out because it didn't look like it would be that good at first. I made mashed po-tats on the side and the gravy was perfect. The only change I made was that I didn't use a whole packet of the soup mix because I didn't want it to be too salty.

My family loved this recipe. I used low sodium soup as others suggested and it turned out wonderful. Next time I think I will try to make it with turkey burger instead of beef. Just to make it a little more healthy. Great gravy with it.

This is the best salisbury steak recipe ever!! My husband and my little girl loved it. I am going to try the base meat recipe and make meatballs out of it, saute them and put them in the slow cooker with spaghetti sauce. I'm sure it will be wonderful! Thank you for sharing!

My family loved this. Perfect comfort food with a side of mashed potatoes. After reading reviews i made a few changes. I used onion salt instead of onion soup mix to control the saltiness i read about. I also used cream of mushroom (low sodium) and brown gravy mix as others suggest. Very easy...Family Favorite! Thank you.

Husband thought it was too bland, son didn't like it at all, my daughter and I thought it was ok. Might make again, but not for some time. It was just ok....

I only use half of the onion soup so its not to salty. Other than that one of my family's favorites, and most frequently asked for, recipes.

Be sure to make the patties pretty thin. They swell up alot after absorbing the gravy and will take twice as long to cook all the way through. It is salty but not unbearably so. Overall pretty good.

This recipe is *fantastic*. Easy and delicious. I did use cream os mushroom instead of cream of chicken. Made a very good gravy to go with mashed potatoes.
