This recipe was pretty good, as some of the other reviewers said, it was better with coconut milk. Also I have to say that it only took me 3 hours to cook in my crock pot, so keep an eye on it after a few hours just to make sure your dinner doesn't get too well done.

Very much enjoyed this recipe and loved the coconut on top. I did add in 4-6 oz of coconut milk instead of the water with the cornstarch, and LOVED IT!!!

This was pretty good! Better the next day - could have had more body - will play with this recipe. Good intro for those not familiar with curry.

Very good result. I took the advice of others and added coconut milk. This is a keeper.

This is definitely a saver. Cooked on HIGH 4.5hrs. Added 1/3c golden raisins to recipe. Used jar garlic & ginger, doubled amount to my liking. Added 1/8c jar chopped hot green chili & 1Tb dried red chili flakes. Used apple juice instead of orange juice, + 1tsp lemon Juice to keep apples from turning brown. Added 2Tb Mandarin HOT curry powder and a full liquid packet of commercially prepared HOT curry sauce [also found in a block form] (buy in Asian markets, Sunflower and Whole Foods). Used a very large pork loin cut up. Added 1/3 cup coconut milk mixed with 2T flour to thicken last 30 min. of cooking time. Served over rustic-style long-grain rice. Topped with sliced raw green onions, dark raisins and coarsely chopped salted cashews (didn't have any peanuts). Looking forward to tomorrow's leftovers. Curry is even better the second day.
