"I tried this cut of meat when it was on sale, and for lack of any other ideas I took suggestions from the back of the label, with a few tweaks (like making gravy). This is a very popular dish at our house, and it could not be easier! Instead of rubbing the roast with the onion soup mix and then adding the cranberry sauce, you can also just mix the onion soup mix with the cranberry sauce and pour the whole mixture over the roast."
Hmm. None of these ingredients are on sale today.

1 (3 pound)
pork sirloin roast
1 (1 ounce) package
dry onion soup mix
1 (16 ounce) can
whole berry cranberry sauce
butter, or to taste
all-purpose flour, or as needed
salt and ground black pepper to taste
This is one of my favorite recipes for pork loin. I have made it for many years. The only thing I do differently is add about 1/2 cup of white wine with the onion soup mix and cranberry sauce. I make the gravy right in the crock pot on high for 15 minutes while the roast rests covered with foil. I have even used a frozen pork loin on high in the crock-pot for 5 hours. Very tender meat and delicious gravy. I often serve it with spatzle dumplings and applesauce.
tried it It was OK.
I was so pleasantly surprised by this roast. It turned out tender and juicy. The gravy was wonderful. My mother in law is elderly and doesn't eat a lot of meat and she gobbled this up. Will make this again. Simple but effective.
Love the roast but it's the sauce that makes this meal!
The only difference I made was I used a pork tenderloin because they didn't have the sirloin and the the meat practically fell apart! The gravy is delicious! Love this recipe : )
This was delish! The meat just fell apart! I didn't have whole berry cranberry sauce, so I used the jellied! LOL But it worked. So juicy and tender! Yum Yum!
Absolutely delicious as is! I will make this again and again!
