This was good, but did not taste like pepper steak as I expected. If I make this again, I will probably take another commenter's advice and add the green peppers at the very end, because they were very very mushy.

Changes I made: I subbed cornstarch with flour, minced garlic for garlic powder, and subbed miled rotel for canned tomatoes. Bought the stir-fry steak at the store and sliced the meat up a bit more. Boyfriend, room mate, friend, coworkers, and I all LOVED this dish. Coworkers asked for the recipe! Will DEFINITELY make this again!

Yum, delish!! Following other reviews, I added the green peppers in an hour before it was time to take it out. Also, I wanted to have it really saucy, so when I added the green peppers, I also stuck a bullion cube in a cup of hot water, and added that as well. After the meal was done, I scooped out about 1/2 cup of the juice, and added cornstarch to it, then back in the pot to thicken up the liquid, so it would be a nice gravy over my egg noodles.

I followed the recipe exactly except I cooked it on the stove because I didn't have enough time for the slow-cooker. This was WONDERFUL! I'm making it again today.

Wow, this turned out FANTASTIC!!! I skipped browning the meat because I just didn't find it necessary. I just threw everything (except peppers) in the crockpot and sprinkled with garlic and onion powder, red pepper, pepper, and a few dashes of worsteshire. I did double the sauce which I thought was perfect to make sure there was enough gravy for the rice. I added a bag of frozen peppers in the last 20 min of cooking. Thanks for an amazing new recipe!!

Overall the family enjoyed this recipe but we all agreed it tasted more like pot roast than pepper steak. We did follow the recipe exactly as written.

I was ok, I used already sliced stirfry meat from the store. The meat came out kida grainy.I'm not sure it it was the cut of the meat or it it was in there to long.I served it over rice. The flavor was ok but the meat just not sure what went wrong...

This was so good! I substituted chicken and chicken bouillon and it was perfect. I served it over egg noddles. Plenty of sauce. Highly recommend this recipe!

I used my electric pressure cooker for this recipe and it came out awesome. I cooked the vegetables separate so they would keep their crunch & I also added mushrooms. I did double the liquid. Served over rice. The whole family loved it. Can't wait to make again.

So good and so easy! I served it with hot buttered egg noodles and white rice so everyone could pick whichever they liked along with the steak. I will make this again!

Excellent!! The only change I did was using a can of diced tomatoes with chili peppers for an extra kick....sooooo easy and very good. I put it over beef seasoned rice.

This recipe is WONDERFUL! I made the following changes: doubled the water, boullion and cornstarch. Glad no one in my house eats peppers or tomatoes because I ate the whole thing!

My family enjoyed this dish. I liked it, but prefer my green peppers with more crunch. Next time I make it I might add the peppers later. I didn't brown the meat. I just threw it in the crock pot and seasoned it with the garlic powder.
