This is ok, but definitely not something I craved. In fact, I eventually threw out the leftovers since it didn't excite me. It is too watery and lacks richness.

Very tasty and easy to make. Even my husband, who hates cooked bell peppers, raved about it. As suggested by others, be sure to hold off on adding the peppers until the last 30 min to 1 hour of cooking to avoid mushy peppers.

I loved this, turned out like a meat cacciatore. Added the green peppers in the last hour.

This was easy and excellent. When done, I mixed in the Spanish Rice II recipe from this site. Stewy goodness!

Didn't care for this. It was really salty and the veggies were mush. Everyone ate it but asked to take it off the "dinner list."

This was absolutely great. The one thing I did differently was seasoned the beef and then grilled it on both sides until medium-rare. I then let it sit for 10 minutes, sliced into strips and added to slow-cooker along with left over juices. 6 hours later it came out absolutely tender with great taste.

Mine came out a bit too salty. I think 2 tbsps of soy sauce is probably enough. I read other reviews and didn't put the peppers in until the last hour.

This was delicious! I used a london broil cut of meat, and it fell apart! The only modification I will make is to add fresh garlic cloves and more peppers next time!

excellent flavor!! Sliced the onions, green pepper, and used one red pepper (instead of chopped). Made recipe exactly as shown other than that. 6 hours was a bit too long on low for me...next time i'll try 5 hours.

This was the first dinner I cooked in my new slow cooker. I'm not a fan of throwing in soup and ketchup, so this sounded appealing to me. It was really tasty and my family liked it - even my 2 year old! I used beef broth instead of water and bullion. I got cut up stir fry meat from the market and I used frozen pepper and onion mix. It was easy and delicious. Will make it again!

Great recipe! Instead of putting the steak in the slow cooker, I grill it and then place strips on top of the bed of rice and pepper sauce.

this was delicious. i added a hefty spoonful of crushed ginger (the kind that comes in a jar) for extra flavor and also used garlic from the jar as well instead of powder. it's the lazy way of going 'fresh'. cooked on high for ~3 hours, added peppers ~20 minutes before the end to avoid soggy veggies. yum!

Great recipe. It's a DEFINITE keeper... even my son who's not crazy about peppers cleaned his plate. I did sprinkle the meat with steak seasoning and then sauteed it with fresh garlic. I also added a swig of worcestershire to the sauce. As per other reviewers I had to add a little extra cornstarch at the end to get the sauce thick enough to my liking. I cooked everything on low for six hours and did not find my peppers too mushy. They were soft, but we like them that way :)

This was good, but I don't think it needs to be put in a slow cooker. And if it is it doesn't need to cook for so long. Maybe 4 hours on low. That's what it took mine. Add the peppers at the very end, like others have said. I served them over mashed potaotes, yummy. Also, I had to add extra cornstarch, the broth was to thin, for my taste. The flavors were good, just need some adjustments.
