This recipe is extremely easy, and delicious! If my Dad and picky husband rave about it, then I know to add it right into my recipe box for keeps! I did add in the worcester sauce, and eliminated the salt...tasted fantastic!

I added the peppers at the end and more cornstarch at the end for a thicker sauce. IT WAS DELICIOUS! The meat was so tender and yummy! I also added some red pepper flakes and hot sauce since we like it HOT HOT HOT in our house!

It tasted more like a stew, I was hoping to make Pepper Steak, like at the Chinese Restaurant. I had to take a double take when I saw HOW much sodium, soy sauce, beef boulion and still add salt... Tasted more like beef stew from a can. I will have to do something to make it less soupy and less SALTY.

Love this recipe. I have made it twice and it is delicious. The soy sauce and the garlic salt is enough sodium. You really do not need to add the 1 tsp of salt.

The previous reviewers were all right on. My husband LOVED it. I did add the extra thickening, and I also waited until closer to the end of cooking time to add the peppers. I used a whole sweet onion and 1 red, 1 yellow and 2 green peppers. I served it over rice and my husband was very pleased.

wonderful. I do not do anything to the steak before adding it into the crock pot, just add is raw with the rest of the ingredients, mix it up well and go! have done it over egg noodles and rice, rice is better because sauce can be thin and it soaks it up well. Whole family loves it, even the toddlers...wow.

Some of the flavor cooked out of the meat, but the juices were incredible.

This was VERY tasty and very easy to make. I followed others' advice by thickening the sauce and adding the green peppers for the last hour and used real garlic instead of powder. Also omitted the sugar and salt. Cooked about 7 hrs on low and served over egg noodles. My hubby was very satisified with this new recipe adventure of mine! Will definately make again.

Since I was only cooking for 2, I used half the amount of meat, but didn't cut back on anything else. Everything turned out perfectly. If I make the full recipe in the future, I'd probably double the liquids etc.

i've been using my slow cooker for about a month. everything seems to turn out very tasty. I followed this recepie pretty much. i cooked the onion and beef in oil to brown it about 10 minutes, and used onion gravy packet with cornstarch instead of the boullion. it turned out really well, it was a bit salty, so if you want to cut that down, maybe next time i would omit the teaspoon of salt, & do 21/2 soy sauce. but everyone loved it. so i will definatly use this again. great flavor- tasted just like moms.

this was awesome! i'll definitely be making it again soon. but i will either omit the teaspoon of salt or just add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce...cause it was a little too salty for my taste. i also added a little bit of sliced mushrooms to it which was a nice flare. instead of chopping the bell peppers; i sliced them and i also used 2 tablespoons of cornstarch to make the gravy a little thicker. a lot of people are saying to add bell peppers towards end if you like them crispy which is true. but i like mine mushy and added them in the beginning and they were great.

My steak turned out just ok.. I think I had high expectations from all the reviews and it just didn't do it for me. Kind of reminded me of something I could buy frozen in a bag at the grocery store and warm up.

It was ok, but I don't think I will make it again. The recipe came out almost like chili and not a main course.
