I really enjoyed this. But my husband thought it was bland. I thought it was a healthy alternative in comparison to others that I've tried that is mostly a gravy. I liked this alot...because of the mix of flavors, Also please note, this dish is even better the second day after a night marinating in the fridge!!!

Pretty good recipe. I cut the high quality sirloin I bought from the butcher to about 1 inch but next time I'll slice it even thinner to achieve a less chewy/dry meat. I cooked mine on high but I think a longer, lower cooking temperature would also help with the texture of the beef.

This recipe was awesome! The only changes I made was add a little more salt and pepper... If you are serving more than 4 hungry people I would double this recipe.. I will make this one again and again!!!

As if this one needs another review... it was wonderfu! Quick, easy and delicious. The only thing I did different was to also add a little pepper to the meat and seasoned the meat during the browning stage- gave the meat more flavor.

EASY, delicious, and everyone loved it - the three things I need to make sure I make something again, and will definitely make again. Just threw ingredients into crock pot bowl before bed and stuck in the fridge, then took it out & turned onto Low for 8 hours and voila! Served over mix of brown & white rice and everyone's asking for it to be a mainstay. Healthy & awesome - thanks!

I guess I was hoping this would taste like pepper steak from the Chinese take out. It doesn't. It smells funny (to me). Ugh, will not be making again.

I tried this recipe last nite and it was a great hit with my husband and I! I added about 1/4 tsp of sesame oil and didn't use salt b/c the soy sauce and sesame oil have salt in it! It was so tender and juicy! I also added the bellpeppers at the last 30 min of cooking! Great recipe!

This recipe was wonderful! I did not change a thing from the original instructions. I used some steak that we had that was very tough when cooked on the grill, it turned out so tender! Will definately use this again, and my mom has requested it as well.

Wonderful recipe! Thanks for sharing. I too waited until about 1-2 hours before serving to add the bell peppers. I used one green and one red for color. I also ended up adding about 2 tablespoons more of constarch 30 minutes before it was done and it thickened up the sauce nicely. We served over egg noodles. My husband and children enjoyed the dish as well. Keeping this one!

Delicious recipe! Made as per stated except, I added the peppers later in cook time. I used a cheaper cut of meat and it still was great. Would make again.

This was delicious! I also made Brown Rice (from this site also) and it was so good! I added an extra bell pepper and fresh garlic instead of powder. Also we decided not to add the can of stewed tomatoes, and I think I would do it the same next time, there will be a next time!
