Not a fan of this one. Hubby liked it as a sandwich.

Super easy! I had a smaller cut of meat (just two of us) so there is lots of leftover gravy to use in another meal. We are not mushroom lovers so I substituted with cream of celery and it was still good. Added some red wine, Worcestershire, onion and parsnips to the crock pot and cooked it all together on low for about 9 hours.

Well I had to make a few changes based on what I had on hand and I also followed some of the other reviewer's tips. I didn't have onion soup mix but I added a bunch of raw onions and spiced/floured the meat, I didn't have tomato soup either so added some watered down tomato puree which I flavored up a bit with some garlic, etc. I also added a splash of Worcestershire sauce, potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, and crushed garlic. I cooked on high for 5 hours and it came out great! Good easy low key recipe. I love slow cookers!

This came out great. I added a little woceseter sauce and red wine, but kept everything else the same. Made mashed potatoes and mixed veggies and some rolls. Used the sauce as is for gravy. Was afraid of using the whole pouch of soup would be too salty but i just made sure not to add salt to potatoes or anything and it all worked out great! I am happy to say that a family of five ate every last drop and that does not happen very often with my family since there is always someone who does not like something lol

I followed the recipe word for word, ingredient for ingredient. Meat was tough, overcooked, overall just a bad meal....SORRY! Out of my recipe box!

This one was a bit strange. Like others noted, it did not smell appealing while cooking, which is not a good sign. Testing the sauce after it cooked a while didn't help matters--it wasn't good, too much tomato soup taste. In the last hour I added a good dose of Madeira wine, which helped only slightly. I was not optimistic when I put it on the table, but the strange thing is that the sauce did taste okay when combined with a bite of the beef, so that was a relief. However, it just wasn't tasty enough to tempt me to make it again.

I made this for Sunday dinner and it was the best!! I used a London Broil. I made the recipe the same but I did change a few things. I didn't use the onion soup mix, too salty, instead I sliced two onions and layed those on top of the meat with some sliced mushrooms. Added 1 tbl. worchestershire and 1 tbl. of balsalmic vinegar. The meat fell apart and the gravy was great on mashed potatoes. I will be making this often! !

This is a Great meal!! My daughter, who is not a meat eater, requests it often! We serve it over different kinds of pasta noodles. I just add a little more water and I season the meat.

This is one of my standbys when London broil pops up on sale. The last time I used dry onion mushroom soup instead of just plain onion soup, and it really added a nice touch. I also used the lower-sodium tomato and mushroom soups, and sprinkled a touch of garlic powder on top of the meat before adding the soup mixture. The leftovers are even better a day or two later when the sauce has really seeped into the beef.

This was sooo easy to make, and delicious too! I forgot to get some dry soup mix from the grocery store, so I sliced up some mushrooms, celery, onion, and green bell peppers and added it. I also added some Worcheshire sauce, garlic salt, seasoning salt, and pepper to the meat after I put it in the crock pot. I've made this a couple of different times using different ingredients and it's come out wonderful every single time!

This was wonderful. I always grill my flak steak, but this is a great change for a winter meal. My husband absolutely loved it and the gravy was perfect for the mashed potatoes. I also added Montreal steak seasoning to the meat. This does not sound like a great combination, but it is. Must try!

This was really really good. The only negative (and why I gave it 4 stars was that it really smelled up the house....I think next time I will add some red potatoes and veggies to make a great pot roast dinner.

We are big pot roast fans...never even bought flank steak before, but I have to tell you, it was worth the price (I paid $5.69 per pound!). This cooked the full 10 hours and was just delicious...stringy but tender and moist...not at all fatty like traditional pot roasts. And the flank steak has a richer flavor than the other cuts of meat. Served it with steamed red bliss potatoes tossed in butter and fresh parsley and some sauteed escarole in garlic oil. Yummy!

This is a great recipe! It is so easy to prepare...I mean, who doesn't have 5 minutes to stir the soups together? I did not alter the recipe, and it was a hit at my house! The meat was tender and yummy!

The whole family really liked this. My husband asked me to make it again. I liked it but it is not my favorite. I used what I had on hand. Golden cream of mushroom soup and Tomato pesto. Thanks for a slow cooker recipe that my family will eat again!

This recipe is very good, but it is a little salty. Next time I will see if there's a low sodium version of one of the soups.
