A bit of a let down. All the great reviews had me expecting something better. A problem was that it charred against the sides of my crockpot (on low). The sauce was too thick and the taste was too concentrated. I added about a cup of water to thin it out & it was more edible. I won't make this for myself again, however my 4 and 7 year olds, who often don't like meat, really liked this.

UGH. This was disgusting. I can't figure out the high rating for this at all. The house smelled great and we were excited to try it. We're not picky eaters at all and experiment with different recipes frequently, but this horrible. It was tasteless beef soaked with tomato soup; that's it. We're on our way out the door right now to pick up some take-out. Yeah...I'd rather eat take-out than this.

My family loved this! Great flavor and another option for London broil. The addition of the tomato soup made such a hearty gravy. This will be a repeat in our house.

This turned out wonderful given how incredibly easy it was to prepare! Even my 3 and 4 year olds ate some (which is pretty unusual.)

It turned out like all of my slow-cooked meats turn out - stringy and with no discernable sense of what the meat originally was.

I was not sure with the mix of ingredients how this would come out. I used a london broil that I already had in the freezer and I used two can each of the soups but only one pkg of the onion mix. I also added fresh mushrroms and onions. This came out great. I would make it again. Like others have said I served it with mashed potatoes and everyone loved it. Since I made the extra gravy the following night I added more mushrooms and a bit of sour cream and cooked beef strips. Mixed all together and served over noodles. What a treat and so easy!

This is not the most visually appealing dish although I managed to cut the meat in thin slices and spoon over some of the sauce onto the meat and it improved the appearance. I do prefer this on either crusty bread as shown in my photo or a soft but toasted onion roll. This made for a hearty lunch sandwich. The meat was juicy and tender and perfect for a sandwich. Another good teenage meal for a group of hungry kids.

Very Easy! The best I ever made!:-) My parents loved this dish. Even my picky hubby enjoyed it. My dad said it was seasoned just right. However it was a tad bit salty for my taste. I did make some changes. I used Knorr's dry vegetable soup instead of dry onion soup. I seasoned the meat (london broil instead of flank steak) with fresh cracked black pepper and ground coriander seed. I also followed the suggestion to add a couple of splashes of worcestershire sauce, a splash of red wine and one clove of chopped garlic to the cream soup mixture. I will make again with the reduced sodium soups.

I have made this twice and I must say it is wonderful! The whole family likes it. The first time I made it with a London Broil the second time I made it with a Flank steak abd both times it turned out excellent! the only suggestion I have is to double the can soup so there is more gravy. Thanks for a awesome easy recipe!!

This was AWESOME! I added some pre-minced garlic & some worcestshire sauce & only used less than half of the onion soup mix. My husband loved it & said it's a keeper. If he says it's a keeper, that's all I need to know. Thanks for a great recipe!

A 3.5* - would have been a 4* but after aprox 9 hrs this flank was still tough!! Flavour was great but in following the directions, even after this amount of time on low - it was just too tough.

I doubled the soup so I could have extra gravy. I combined all the soups together and poured over the meat. I was very good. I added 1 tbsp Worchester sauce, red wine for taste. Great with mashed potatoes, extra mushrooms and carrots.

I give this recipe 5 stars becuase of how easy it is to prepare. I didn't use the onion soup mix, instead I used fresh onion, potato, and carrot. I also used a family sized can of cream of mushroom. Per the suggestion of another rater I also added red wine. I wasn't sure about the recipe at first becuase of the odd smell when it first started to cook, but it turned out awesome.
