The reason I choose this recipe was from the ratings it had received. Looking back, ANY recipe that has two processed cans of soup should be immediately deleted from any cooking site. This recipe, which I made verbatim, was way too salty, flavorless and unimaginative. Even if you had added vegetables, this is a negative adventure in cooking.

A REAL Surprize! Just reading the recipe would have never caused me to make this, but reading several reviews encouraged me to try it. I'm never a fan of a review that changes 90% of the original recipe .... it's hardly a "review" anymore ..... it becomes a "I had a better idea". Most reviews added a little Worchestershire Sauce, which I did (1 TBSP) and thoroughly combined the 3 soups before pouring over a London Broil. It came out REALLY tender and REALLY tasty. Wife said it is MUCH better than ANY pot roast --- which bothered me, a little, cause I think I make a GREAT pot roast...oh well. Next time: I will add 8oz of fresh sliced mushrooms about 30 minutes before serving, and MAY experiment with subbing diced Italian tomatoes for the Tomato Soup .... but the RECIPE AS WRITTEN IS WONDERFUL!!! Try it AS WRITTEN FIRST !!!!

I have a question. Is there an alternative to using onion soup? I'm allergic to it.

The meat was very tender. If I make again and I will,I will only use about a half can of tomato soup and the whole pack of onion soup mix.I did add the worechester.I will try it over rice or noodles.

One of the easiest and best recipes for the busy family I have seen. My husband and sons loved the meat and I served it with mashed potatoes and vegetables. I did however add a little water in with the soups when I first put in in the pot and right before serving it I made a paste out of self rising flour and water and added it to make the gravy thicker to go over the potatoes. It will be a mainstay at our house for sure.

This is a strange recipe, but we really enjoy it and I have added it to my dinner rotation. It's so EASY. It does taste great, and I serve it with mashed potatoes. (Sometimes I skip the onion soup.) The only thing that makes it a 4 instead of a 5 is it's appearance. It's not very appealing looking so I would not serve it to guests. I do, however, give out the recipe for friends to try at home.

Well, I took the advice of a few and only cooked this for about 5 hours... I was quite disappointed that the meat was not very tender and I bought a very good piece of London Broil! I will try this again though, cook it a bit longer and possibly add some cut up onion. I only used half the package of soup and it was not salty at all.

I make this recipe every season, but I use beef stew meat and add potatoes, carrots and corn to the pot. Or substitute browned ground beef. Makes an awesome and easy thick beef stew. Serve with buttermilk biscuits. Can cook stew in oven for about an hour and a half at 300.

I'm giving this 4 stars because it is an easy recipe and definetely has a good flavor. I personally just thought that it was way too salty. Maybe it was just the soup mix I used though.

It was Great, just changed some ingredients, I used London boil roast, added a family size can of cream of mushroom soup, added mined onion, fresh garlic 1 clove, pepper to taste and 1 cup of water.. I served it with roasted potatoes, sautéed mushrooms... Made plenty of gravy... I only cooked it from frozen for 6 hours on slow.

PHENOMENAL!!!!! When I first mixed the tomato, mushroom and onion soups together, it smelled kind of...strange. But when I came home last night, the house was filled with this incredible aroma!! It was one of those dishes that is so good, that you can't help but to keep eating it even when you are sickeningly full. SO YUMMY!

Awesome, tasty & easy to do. My only "deviation" from the recipe was cooking time. Different slo cooker/crock pot or something else I'm not sure. I can't see cooking 2 pounds of ANY meat - even the toughest cut - for 8-10 hrs. I gave it 5 hours first time out, but have cut back more each time cooking it since.I suggest watching the meat closely first try, so you know what it will do. Especially if you plan to be working or out all day.... Absolutely an EXCELLENT RECIPE! The most awesomely tender London broil ever; as well as being the tastiest by far in a long time. Very, very easy-to-do; being just about a "1 pot" meal..... Thank you MERRI C & AllRecipes.

This recipe is perfect just the way it is. It's by far the easiest and best (for the effort) crock pot London Broil recipe I've used. My family truly loved it and it took so little effort but tasted awesome! I will use this one over and over again!

A bit of a let down. All the great reviews had me expecting something better. A problem was that it charred against the sides of my crockpot (on low). The sauce was too thick and the taste was too concentrated. I added about a cup of water to thin it out & it was more edible. I won't make this for myself again, however my 4 and 7 year olds, who often don't like meat, really liked this.

UGH. This was disgusting. I can't figure out the high rating for this at all. The house smelled great and we were excited to try it. We're not picky eaters at all and experiment with different recipes frequently, but this horrible. It was tasteless beef soaked with tomato soup; that's it. We're on our way out the door right now to pick up some take-out. Yeah...I'd rather eat take-out than this.
