I followed the directions and the meat came out way overcooked. I think it would be fine, I just have to figure out the cooking time.

This recipe was amazing and so very simple. I had to change the cream of mushroom soup (as son is allergic to mushrooms), so I used cream of asparagus...Oh my, this was absolutely melt in your mouth wonderful! Thank You!

I wanted to try this recipe because of its simplicity...and I'm happy to say that it was delicious. I ended up using 2.8 lbs of boneless chuck pot roast (it was on sale) and used 3/4 of onion-mushroom soup mix. (It was a little salty for my taste, so next time, I'll use 1/2 of the soup mix packet.) I added a can of sliced mushrooms about 15 minutes before serving. It was yummy with mashed potatoes (for me) and steamed rice (my hubby & our 13 yr old son), with a bag of veggies (squash, okra, tomato, and corn) on the side! I'll definintely cook this again.

It's true . . . the smell is strange in the house! But try it anyway; the taste is NOT how it smells. It's delicious. We took a chance and had this for Easter supper . . . put it in before church and when we walked in afterwards, the smell made us think, "Uh Oh!" But that turned into "Yum!" after we snuck a piece to make sure it was okay. I sauteed mushrooms in garlic and butter to serve with, along with the mashed potatoes. Super easy. Try it!

Not in love, but perfectly edible. I had a little over 1.5 lbs. of London Broil (round), and cooked nearly 11 hours. Certainly did NOT fall apart, but wasn't tough either. Don't understand needing more gravy as other reviewers were lamenting, as the meat was swimming in soup/ broth. The aroma of canned tomato soup and mushroom soup, mixed, is a bit tinny and I had concerns from the beginning. Took advice and added thinly sliced onion. I knew it needed more, and added Worchestchire sauce, a TBS vinegar (presumably for tenderness), fresh rosemary, fresh thyme, and fresh sage. Added a few odds/ ends dry stuff like Monterey seasoning and garlic powder, but still wouldn't say I would ever need to have this again... I'd suggest that if you really want a 3 minute recipe next time, drive thru. If you have more time, dutch oven method is superior.

This was absolutely delicious. My family loved it. I doubled the soups and it made lots of tasty gravy. I used savory herb and garlic soup mix because that is what I had on hand. I also served the meat and gravy over rice. I will definately make this again.

We were celebrating a MSU Spartan win recently and had this cooking all day. Brother in law is a meat and potatoes guy so I made certain we had redskin mashed potatoes to go with this dish. Like others, added worcester red wine and two cloves of garlic crushed. The gravy made for a perfect topping for the mashed potatoes. Slow cooking is such a simple way to make this dish. The best. Already shared this with several friends. On the list forever.

I would never make this again. It was extremely salty and I did not like the taste. I enjoy all three soups and thought it would be great. The recipe was so easy I thought all would be good. Not so. I can't even give a suggetion as to how this would be better. Sure low sodium soups would lower the salty taste but that does not change the taste. I even put it over rice in the hopes of absorbing the sauce but it didn't help. I wanted to love it but it just didn't work for me.

My hubby loved this one. I cheated a little though, whenever I use my slow cooker I want a complete meal. I added a couple of peeled and quartered white potato's, a small white onion and then added the rest of ingredients. It smelled wonderful while it cooked. About 20 min. before cooking was complete, I added a small dish of leftover mixed vegies to the pot. Served with garlic bread. This was delicious and is another keeper.

LOVED it!! I used a london broil as the name of the recipe suggests rather than a flank steak in the ingredients list. I cooked it on low for 8 or 9 hours and it was fabulous! I have never had such a tender london broil. It literally fell apart it was so tender!! I added some Worcestershire sauce as one reviewer suggested, and I also sprinkled some onion powder and garlic powder over the top. This is a keeper!!
