I tried this with a lot of reluctance. I've never had much luck with slow cooking London broil. I had one that needed to be used. I used cream of chicken because I didn't have the mushroom. Added some garlic and worcestshire. Slow cooked on low for 8 hours, and then shredded the meat. It was so tender and juicy! In the past, I have found London broil to be dry when cooked beyond medium rare. This probed me wrong. Easy and delicious!

This was just average to me. For years I have done roasts in the crockpot using cream of mushroom soup and dry onion soup mix so I was hoping the tomato soup would give this a bit more of a twist.

My meat came out a little dry, so next time I will try reducing the cooking time.

wow - this was pretty yummy! i mixed all the soups (including dry mix) together in the crock pot with a splash of red wine and then added the meat (which i seasoned and seared ahead of time). even my 4-year old and 2-year old ate it!

Didnt care for the sauce. Next time I will use BBQ. It also burnt to the bottom of the slow cooker after 5 hours. Add some water to prevent burning.

This is an easy meal to prepare, but I really just didn't like it. I found the sauce to be waaaayyy too salty. It didn't have much flavor other than salt. Mine also came out hopelessly burned, but that could have been my fault. I followed the recipe as written; maybe I would try this again with some changes (i.e. low sodium soups?). Thanks for sharing anyway.

Absolutely delicious!! Very flavorful, and tender. Will make again. I followed recipe as written but did add about a half a cup of beef broth that I had left over.

Easy and delicious-- picked it out when our local safeway had a sale on london broil. I forgot the tomato soup, though, so I actually just squirted in some ketchup instead...worked out very well, and the leftovers have been great for sandwiches and the like! I think I'll try it again with a few more additives (I saw someone added mushrooms in-- mmm, fantastic idea), but a perfect easy slow-cooker recipe to start with.

The tomato soup added a taste that was unusual, but surprisingly good. The only changes I made were adding a good amount of black pepper to season the meat, and instead of using dry onion soup mix, I peeled a red onion and layered the slices on top of the beef. Some other reviewers said the meat came out tough. Not sure why unless it did not cook long enough. My london broil came out fork tender after about 7.5 hours.

We loved this but made a few modifications. Others said it did not make enough gravy so I added a can of beef gravy to the soups. I also added a thinly sliced onion. It was wonderful. It was so easy I will definitely make it again...and again...and again!!

We really liked this recipe. I used london broil and seasoned it with garlic, salt and pepper. I didn’t use the onion soup mix (many felt it was too salty). I used low sodium cream of mushroom and tomato condensed soups. I added chopped onion and baby carrots to the soup mix and poured over beef. Cooked for 7 hours LOW and it fell apart. Served over egg noodles. So easy and would make again.

I made this last night with a top round London Broil (that I had defrosted by mistake, and it was far too big to grill for 2 people). My husband and I both loved it. It was very tender with a great flavor. I added potatoes, carrots, celery and onions to the pot before I put the meat in. We now have delicious, easy to use leftovers. I will definitely make this again!

What an excellent recipe! The meat was so tender, it just fell apart. I only used half a packet of onion soup mix and that was still a little too salty for us. Next time I will add some potatoes to the crock to help absorb the salt content. We loved the gravy so much that I'm thinking about using it as a base for beef stew. Thank you!
