I give this 5 stars for how easy, healthy, good and moist it was. I too listened to the advice of others and added two cups of water and a dash of white wine. I'm sure it would have been just as good without the wine but I happened to have it on hand. I will be making this again.

This was so good! I cut the chicken into strips, so that they would absorb more of the flavour. I also added extra liquid, but not as much as some of the other reviewers recommended, and it was fine. My husband loved it and was sad when it was all gone!

Delish! For those who thought the chicken was dry, try cooking for less time but--even better--use chicken thighs as they are more moist than boneless breasts. I omitted salt and used fat-free chicken broth and also added some mushrooms toward the end. A keeper!

Next time need to brown the chicken and make sure I put the rub on it. I think that would have made the difference, even though other reviewers said they liked it without. Added red potatoes and broccoli and the broth gave it a nice flavor.

This recipe is delicious. The chicken falls of the bone and is full of flavor. I added extra lemon and lots of extra garlic. I also have cooked it with about 1/4 c of white wine and the sauce was delicious.

I took the advice of other people and substituted the water for chicken stock. It worked great! The taste was tangy and delicious. We had garlic/broccoli couscous and Caesar salad with it, and a nice Red Truck Pinot! This was my first attempt at cooking chicken in a slow cooker, and it was delightful!

I would give this recipe 3 stars, but my husband said 5 so I compromised with 4. He absolutelly loved it. I thought it was good, but it was really, really tangy. I thought the lemon juice was a bit overpowering. I will definitly have to cook it again since my husband thought it was so fantastic, but I think I will play with it a little next time.

I give this recipe two stars for texture. The chicken was tender and moist. However, it was tasteless, watery, except for the rub applied on top. I love slow cooker dishes, this one was not a keeper. It is a good starter recipe, and therefore will keep in my recipe box.

This recipe was a little disappointing. I have always loved the way meals turn out in my crockpot and this was the first that I did not care for. I took the suggestions from the other reviews, using white wine to deglaze the pan and adding lemon pepper spice to the chicken dredge. This dish is fairly flavorless and my chicken completely shredded after 4 hrs of cooking. I think I'll stick to my "tried and true" chicken crock pot recipes instead. I recommend BBQ pulled chicken instead. Very flavorful and sure to please crowd. Just put chicken breasts in crockpot with 1/2 a sliced onion and enough BBQ to coat, delicious!

This was wonderful!!! I used the juice from the whole lemon; other than that I didn't change a thing. I served it over whole wheat linguine and my family gobbled it up. I had to drag my 3 year old away from the table. Will make this many more times. Thanks!

This was just ok. I think there is too much sodium going on in this recipe with the chicken bouillon, lemon, and salt. It needed another flavor component to balance the sodium. It was moist but i dont think we'll be making again. It did get finished, but we've had better..

My family loved this... kids included...therefore, this is a 5 star winner in my book. It is very easy and takes almost no to very little prep time, which makes it 5 stars for the cook!! Prepared exactly as written. Will be making this one again!

This tasted great, but was too dry, and I had it in the crock pot for 4 hours. So next time I'll try 3 hours. I also added a little cornstarch to the liquid to make a sauce for the chicken and served with rice.
