Well, when I read the recipe I thought, "whoa, dude, way too much wine and way too much garlic!" However, I cooked it as instructed. It has an overpowering aroma while cooking which I found discouraging. Lost cause, I thought.
But wait! After it was done, I refrigerated it for 1-1/2 days. Put some of the chicken in chicken salad, the rest in a chicken divan casserole.
After refrigerating, guess what, this stuff is pretty good! Strong, complicated flavor. Next time, though, I will use about 1/2 the wine and 2/3 the garlic. Maybe add a little water or broth instead.
