Yummy, but we put it together the night before and still was soggy with only 2.5 hours. Probably would be better prepared then heated and served on same day.

The cook time really has to be decreased. I wasn't that happy with the outcome, the pasta was very slimy. I took the leftovers to my nephews, they loved it!

With reviewer-suggested changes this is definitely 5 stars. I added bottled sauce, sausage and chopped black olives. I also added (thawed & drained) frozen spinach to the cheese layer. Delicious!!! Thanks for the recipe!

WOW! I never expected this to be so good. Next time I'll add some red and green bell peppers and maybe some chopped up tomatoes. Thank you so much!

If all items are preassembled and put in the 'fridge the night before, it needs to only be in the slow cooker for half the recommended time.

This was EXCELLENT! I did read the reviews first and made some adjustments. I used ricotta cheese instead of cottage. I layered the meat sauce throughout, but then topped this with a jar of spaghetti sauce so it wouldn't dry out. It was done in 5 hours on low. Everyone really liked it too! Thanks!

I would probably tweak this recipe a bit for next time. I loved the ease of cooking it in the slow cooker, but felt that something was lacking taste-wise. Perhaps it was the sauce...... Easy though--I'll work with it.

I used a 40-ounce jar of spaghetti sauce instead of the tomato paste and sauce and used oven-ready lasagna noodles. My family loved it. It was quick and easy to assemble. However, next time I will use regular noodles as the oven-ready noodles were just a tad on the soft side, but still good. Also, only 2.5 hours in my slow cooker for this and it was done.

Very good. I've made it several times and my family loves it- but I usually cook it on low for 4-4.5 hours, as other reviewers have suggested. Today I also added some (thawed) frozen spinach in with the cheese mixture, and it was delicious!

Liked this recipe. I used mini lasagna noodles and it seemed a little dry. Next time i will use a few less noodles, but it has a good flavour.

I did not care for this at all and if it were up to me I would have given it 1 star. But my husband said it was good and my 6 year old liked it as well. Six to eight hours is too long for this dish. The noodles were mushy yet it wasn't very saucy. Also did not like the flavor. To be fair I think it was more due to the fact that I make a good oven lasagna and prefer it instead. Still thanks for the recipe because it was quick, easy and much cheaper than the what I usually make.

I cannot rave enough about this recipe! I love it, love it! Have made it several times, and each time I give the recipes out. I prefer ricotta, but cottage cheese is good to, soooo easy and the flavors blend together beautifully. I will never make lasagna in the oven again!

This recipe turned out great for me. It took 4 hrs. in my oblong slow cooker. I added a can of crushed tomatoes to the sauce to make sure there was enough to cover the noodles. My family really liked this too.

This was okay. The noodles were not done after a long time cooking and it was kind of dry. Dont think it is something I would try again.

This was a good starting point. I added more cheese, used spicy italian sausage, and spiced up the meat a little more with some italian seasonings. The noodles were still a little chewy after cooking according to the recipe.

Great recipe to begin with, make it your own and add/substitute the things you like. We use hot italian sausage. Easy family supper.

Almost identical to my oven lasagna recipe so I loved the flavor. Took some extra time for planning and browning the meat so not exactly a "throw it in and leave" recipe. Also works best in a long oval crock pot. When I made it in the tall round one, it took longer and made a too thick lasagna that did not come out in clean cuts for picture perfect squares.
