I cooked this for my mom and I. We both really enjoyed it. I used turkey instead of beef, wheat lasagna noodles, and did not use onions (don't like onions). I also added fresh mushrooms and green peppers to the sauce. Very good.

This lasagna was convenient and smelled wonderful while it was cooking but it was a huge disappointment. I would recommend not adding salt as it calls for 11/2 tsp. of salt. It tasted very salty to me and the lasagna noodles were very rubbery and it needs something to make it moister. It was very dry. Will not make this again.

This was nice and easy and will be great for soccer practice nights when you want dinner ready when you get home. Next time, I will use jarred sauce to make it even faster.

I definitely want to try this recipe and have read MOST ALL the reviews. MANY THANKS TO ALL OF YOU! But, please help! For those who used non-lasagna noodles (e.g., penne pasta or rotuno, etc.),do you pre-cook this pasta at all? Please post response!

I cooked this for less than 6 hours (the recipie said 6-8) and it burnt to a crisp all the way through. It could have cooked in half the time

I use this recipe in my restaurant, and the customers rave. They ask for it weekly. Great for home as well. Kids love it.

I don't think that I would make it again. The flavor was good, however, it was real dry. I used alot more sauce than recommended and it was still dry. I don't think that it's any easier than making it the conventional way.

Perfect lasagna... I was very skeptical when I was making it. I followed the recipe to a "T" and it came out perfect. Nothing burned, nothing was chewy, tasted great. It took a bit of finagling to get it out and keep it looking pretty but after the first slice was out it was much easier. 5 stars from our entire family, kids and all!

Much better than any frozen lasagne on the market that one can buy but I felt the noodles tasted "starchy". Will make again but, if time permits, will use my standard recipe where noodles are cooked and washed.

This was a great recipe...I use it even just to make in the oven. The only thing wrong that I found in the slow cooker was that some of the bottom burned.

This was good, but will probably not make again except maybe for a potluck. Cooked 4 hours on low.

Sometimes, easy is over rated. Difficult to spoon out of our "high" slow cooker. Looked a mess when served. Taste wise...nothing much to recommend either. I really hate to say this but a waste of good ingredients.

Perfect! I used canned spaghetti sauce instead of creating my own, and cooked it two hours on high, and two on low. I also used one of those new slow cooker bags to make clean-up easy.. and it's the perfect dinner! My 4 year old and my husband both loved it, so we'll definitely be adding it to our list of usuals.

We did a lot of changes but loved it. We used Ricotta cheese instead of cottage, used fresh basil in the sauce mixture, added jar sauce over the top of the filled crock pot and topped off with some of the saved mozzeralla cheese the last 30 minutes. This is easy and a keeper.

Being a vegetarian, I substituted soy ground round for the beef. I followed the recipe exactly (except for the beef thing) and I added fresh basil when I added the oregano. The end result was great. I did not have to adjust the time at all, 6 hours was perfect. I highly recommend this - it is a no fail lasagna!

This is always a big hit at potluck dinners. Instead of the traditional lasagna noodles, I use rotuno noodles, or any type that's fat and round. OH... and definitely use ricotta cheese instead of cottage.

This recipe is definitely worth experimentation and tweaking. I loved the ease of preparation and not making my kitchen hot on a sultry summer's day. Mine was a vegetarian spinach version with several substitutions. However, the method of cooking works very well. My noodles were a bit mushy also and next time I will reduce the time to 4 hours. Also, I have a theory that a few of the problems reported with burning and sticking on the bottom may be a result of the type of crockpot used rather than the recipe. If the heating coils are only on the bottom of the cooker rather than surrounding the sides as well, it makes sense that there might be some burning or sticking as a result. I will definitely use this recipe and technique in the future!
