I followed the recipe on these except for two exceptions, I used 24 tortillas instead of 10. I did NOT add any water to the taco meat except during cooking the meat to cook the taco season in. They were GREAT! I will be making this one again!

Instead of beef I shredded chicken and might have used a few more tortillas. Came out great!

This was easy end excellent. I subbed enchilada sauce for the salsa. And instead of cooking it in the slowcooker for an hour I baked it in a 12x8 dish in the oven for an hour. Topped with olives.

the corn tortillas and beef shine, making you forget the soup it contains. Not healthy enough to make my top grade, but everyone ate it.

YUMMY and EASY recipe! I had to be somewhere for 2 hours before dinner and couldn't monitor the crockpot. So I cooked on low for those 2 hours and it was cooked perfectly! I used chicken, a 10 oz can enchilada sauce in place of the chunky salsa, Healthy Request soups and 2% cheese.

I liked this recipe a lot and will make it again to share at a potluck or just at home. I used a medium salsa and so adding sour cream as a garnish was a good idea for the kids.

Phenomenal! My personal changes; sauteed onions and garlic, then added the beef. Omitted the extra water and used a can of black beans instead. Used the "healthy request" versions of the soups. I used a fantastic salsa (Desert Pepper brand; Roasted Corn and Black Bean salsa) and added a bit of cumin to taste. The flavors really melded after 90 minutes on high in the slow cooker. Delicious!!

My family loves this recipe! It's more like slow cooker enchilada mush, but that's just fine with us! Yum!

I made some modifications to this. I slow cooked chicken breast, shredded it and heated with some of the taco seasoning. When I finished layering in the slow cooker I sprinkled a little of the left over taco seasoning on top. I also used reduced/healthy select soups. My family enjoyed it.

I made some major adjustments due to the complaints everyone had about it being soggy. I kept the tortilla count the same but halved the soup portion of the recipe. It didn't turn out soggy which was good. I added green bell peppers, onion, and minced jalepeno to it as well. However, it still had a slightly "cream of..." soup taste to it. I will try it again, it just needs more tweaking.

This was so easy, and everyone in the family loved it. I did add low-fat soups, but other than that, I followed the recipe exactly. I'll be making this more often!

This is a very flexible recipe. I have made it as is (and as recommended by others). Most recently, I happened to have a few chicken breasts in the freezer, which I used in place of ground beef. And I had lots of part skim mozzarella, which i used in place of cheddar. I added a small can of diced green chilles and, my goodness, it was quite delicious. I'm about to make it again tonight. Even when I use the low fat versions of the soup mixes, it's still a winner.
