This chilli was really good. I used ground turkey instead and seasoned it with black pepper, paprika, onion powder and a little salt while browning it. Serve over white rice and this was the perfect sunday meal.

this recipe is great , however i did make it with ground turkey and made a few changes,i added 2x what the recipe called for chili powder and hotsauce as we like our food spicy. i used 1/2 cup of celery and 1/2 cup of bell pepper instead and added cumin. it tasted great topped with some cheddar cheese and saltines :)& there were no leftovers

It's not bad, but I found it didn't taste much like chili. It was very vegetably and not very chili-like. I think next time I'd use less celery, less tomato and less liquid. All in all, not bad for easiness.

This was my first time cooking Chili and it was phenomenal! After reading the other reviews I made a few changes. I only used the liquid from one of the can of beans and just used the beans from the other two. I added 1/4 cup of chili powder, 3 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon of white sugar, and 2 teaspoons of ground cumin. I also used 1 teaspoon of dried basil instead of 3/4 - same thing goes for the oregano. I used 2 teaspoons of the hot pepper sauce instead of one. My husband likes his chili spicy. I didn't use parsley.

This tasted great! It was all gone in my house by the time people got home from work and after about 30 minutes, there was no longer any left. Tasted great, followed the recipe to a T. This will be the recipe I use for chili from now on!

Very simple and easy! Made it before lunch, and didn't have to worry about making dinner later on. Up'd the amount of spices used, when i sautee'd the beef i added the spices into it. and then added them again in the croc pot. Very delicious! I also added Italiano seasoning, Paprika and Cayanne!

My family loved this. I did make some changes. I left out the onion, celery, pepper, hot sauce, and cannellini beans. I used 1 (15oz) can tomato sauce instead of the puree. I used 2 cans pinto beans, all drained, instead of the kidney beans. I added 1 can petite diced tomatoes, undrained. This was a thicker chili but still enough juice to eat with some crackers.

I do not like spicy foods, so I am picky about the chili I eat. This was AWESOME! I tweeked it by adding diced tomatoes (with oregano, garlic and basil), I added a pound of turkey sausage (I like meaty chili), I deleted the hot sauce, and free poured the spices and veggies. I made it for Super Bowl Sunday and everyone LOVED it!! I am making it again tonight!!

This chili lacked flavor. We added a great deal of raw onions and grated cheddar to make it palatable.

Not bad. Seemed to be missing the tomato flavor and was a bit dry so we added a 28oz can of crushed tomatoes. Probably should have added more chili powder too but will need to next time.
