Slow Cooker Chicken with Leek Soup Mix

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 (1.8 ounce) package dry leek soup mix
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup

DIRECTIONS

  1. Evenly spread onion in the bottom of a slow cooker. Place chicken on top of onion, and sprinkle with dry leek soup mix. Mix the cream of mushroom soup and cream of chicken soup in a bowl, and pour into the slow cooker.
  2. Cover, and cook 7 to 8 hours on Low.

not bad! I added a bit of pepper to it to make better!

I really did not like this recipe at all. The leek soup overpowered the recipe and gave it a funny taste. I won't be making this again.

I thought the leek soup would make this taste differently. It tastes the same as all the other "cream of mushroom/cream of chicken" recipes. Nothing special.
