The first time I made this, I gave it 3 stars because I wasn't real satisfied with it. However, I didn't want to give up on it, so I decided to give it a second go last night with several a few changes based on user suggestions. The results were soooo yummy! I used chicken broth instead of water, and rolled out my little store-brand biscuits to less than 1/4" thick before slicing them into one-inch squares. Also, because I have to leave out onions and other veggies since my hubby is a picky eater, I added one or two tsp of onion powder as well as some salt-free Cavenders (I thought it was salty enough with the cream of chicken soup) to add more flavor. I used leftover Thanksgiving turkey instead of chicken, but it'll be good with chicken too. Because the dumplings were rolled out thin, they only needed to cook for about 30 minutes on the crockpot's high setting. Absolutely delicious results! Will definitely make again. :)
