This is phenomenal!!! I used two 10 oz cans on rotel since I was out of tomatoes. I garnished with a heap of shredded mozzarella and tortilla chips. I highly recommend mozzarella with this soup. It melts wonderfully and tones down the spiciness of the soup the perfect amount. I can not wait to make this again and again!!

I made the following changes based on other's recommendations: Took out about 1/3 of the liquid and pureed it, then added it back to the pot. I also added 1 cup brown rice (uncooked, not instant) to the soup about an hour before serving....tastes great with tortilla chips!

Great recipe! I added a can of black beans and put 3 raw boneless chicken breasts in with the rest of the ingredients. I took the chicken out after about 6 hours, shredded it and put it back in for another 2 hours. I didn't bother with the tortillas; I crumbled tortilla chips over the individual bowls along with some shredded Mexican cheese. I'll definitely make this again.

Well I made this recipe without reading the bad reviews, I made this as written exept used all chicken broth and no water . I am sorry to say when I tried this I was horrified at the taste and in my panic to fix this I added a little sugar, cream of chicken soup and more chicken stock improved this a little so I added a can of cheddar cheese soup. It is now edible but I would never try this one again

This was a great soup, honestly didn't make it exactly as written but the main ingredients were the same. I used a rotisserie chicken that I shredded, used diced tomatoes with green chilis and a cilantro cooking base and turned out great!

This was wonderful. Cubed and browned the chicken with garlic and onion, then added it to the other ingredients. Let it simmer on the stovetop for about an hour and my family almost devoured it. I was hoping to have more left over but guess I'll have to make it again this week!
