This was easy to make. I put my frozen chicken breasts into the slow cooker with the margarine and Italian seasoning. I let it cook on medium until the chicken could be shredded. Then added the rest of the ingredients. Our family enjoyed it with rice, although I think noodles would be better.

This was easy to make and very good! I used zesty Good Seasons italian dry dressing mix, 98% fat free cream of chicken, and reduced fat cream cheese. Everyone asked for seconds. I will be making this one again. Thanks!

Yum! This recipe is fantastic as written. Only changes were to add 1/4 cup of white wine and a splash of chicken broth when cooking the chicken.

Everyone had seconds, even my 6 and 7 year old sons! I used Zesty Italian dressing, healthy request cream of celery (instead of chicken) which I added at the beginning with some leftover chicken broth and only used 1/3 the cream cheese at the end. I did not use butter/margarine but sprayed butter flavored cooking spray in the crockpot before adding anything. I trimmed the chicken breasts but did not cube them -- shredded them with two forks at the end. Definitely a keeper at our house!

Loved this dish!!! I added mushrooms, and used low fat cream cheese and reduced fat soup, and also just 1/2 of the Italian salad dressing mix. Also 1/2 cup of white wine, as another review mentioned. We will have leftovers tonight- I'm sure it will taste even better!!! Thanks Judi Ann for the recipe!!

This is so easy and inexpensive to make. I'm not sure what Stroganoff is supposed to taste like, but we thought it tasted like a mild chicken alfredo. Next time I may add some mushrooms, but it's good just the way it is.

This is very easy to make and yields great results. I added red wine to the chicken and italian seasoning. I omitted the margarine and was glad I did. This was extremely rich; next time I will use FF cream cheese. I served it with wholegrain brown rice which was delicious.

This recipe was an enourmous disappointment. Chicken was tough and burned, sauce was too thick and extremely salty. Added at least a half cup of milk to thin it out but still salty.

My crockpot is large and oval shaped. The chicken, margarine and dressing mix had started to burn after 5 hours on low. It's probably best made in a regular sized crockpot. I also used Zesty Italian dressing mix - the flavor was slightly over powering. I did add about a half a soup can of water. The sauce seemed a little too thick, after adding the cream cheese and condensed soup. Overall, it was ok. If I try this again, I may double the recipe to fit my large slow cooker. I'll also stick with the regular italian dressing mix or maybe use the ranch flavor.

I didn't have any dry italian dressing mix so I used dry onion soup mix instead. It was pretty good, but if you do it this way I recommend only using half the package! Over all I was pleased

This was a quick recipe to pull together right from my cupboard and fridge. I made the following changes: I used about 1 lb. of boneless pork loin chops, ranch dressing mix (didn't have Italian today), 3/4 of a soup can of fat free half and half and 4 oz. of low fat cream cheese. I pulled the cooked meat into small pieces after 5 hours. Served over small pasta, this was terrific. I left the salt out of the pasta cooking water since the sauce tasted salty. Next time I will use canola oil instead of margarine, and garnish with a little parsley for color and a couple of twists of the pepper grinder. I will try it again with the chicken and Italian salad dressing mix. Thank you for a versatile recipe!

I fixed this chicken stroganoff this evening and it was wonderful. I absolutely loved it and so did my family. It took me longer than 10 minutes to cube my chicken but it was well worth it. The italian dry dressing added such a great flavor I was really surprised. I will be sharing this with many friends and family members. Thank You!

This recipe came out great. The only change I made was adding a 1/2 cup of white wine at the beginning along with the butter and seasonings. However I didn’t cube the chicken as instructed. Instead I shredded the chicken like many other people mentioned in their reviews. But I guess I shredded it too much. It looked like tuna fish by the time it was done with all the stirring that was necessary to blend the cream cheese and condensed soup. But even through it didn't look to appealing, It still tasted awesome. Next time I will cube or not shred at all and just let the chicken fall apart on its own. Thanks for posting this recipe.

No need to add margarine or butter. This recipe is great without it! My 4 kids almost lick their plates clean when I make this (not an easy accomplishment)! Use the low-fat version of cream cheese, soup, and sour cream (add 1 cup before serving). This freezes easily too. Just place all in a large ziploc without pasta or rice. Easy and delicious!

Super simple and delicious! I added fresh mushrooms with the chicken, dry italian, and margarine. I used fat free cream cheese and reduced fat cream of mushroom soup...you couldn't even tell it was reduced fat! Served over fettucinne, husband and 3 year old loved it too!
