DELICIOUS! It was done after 6 hours, very tender. We put them in a whole wheat pita and put blue cheese dressing on it and it was so good! Will definitely make again.

This is great. I wanted something to be done when we all got home from work, school etc.... I put it on in the morning an out the door. I didn’t use the ranch package or the butter (my choice) Cooked the chicken in Red Hot sauce and a little chicken broth. Came home shredded the chicken. Toasted some buns filled with chicken meat and topped it with x-tra sauce & home made blue cheese dressing. Its more of a dip cause it is pretty think. My boyfriend and girls that are the worlds biggest (I’m not trying that teenagers I have ever seen) LOVED IT!!! ask for seconds. Then wanted to know if they could take leftover to work & the other one wanted to take it to school. Thanks for sharing. We will be having this often. Not to leave out the fact that it better for you than chicken wings and still the great flavors! Serve it with a small salad with blue cheese dressing for a complete meal! This should get a 10....

Although I am not normally a fan of buffalo chicken, these sandwiches rock!! I shredded the chicken after 6 hours and added diced onion and let it cook another 2 hours. I also used about 3/4 of the ranch packet instead of 1/2. I omitted the butter and they still turned out GREAT. Topped the buns with provolone and romaine. Thanks for the recipe!

This was pretty good, I used regular ranch dressing and kept everything else the same. The only thing I didn't like was that it made the bread super soggy. I'm making this for a potluck in 2 days and am going to add corn starch after shredding to thicken up the sauce.

I made this with huge expectations, based on the reviews. We thought it was just okay. It was very wet, and to be honest, hard to wrap our brain around the fact that it was buffalo chicken, as there was no breading. It was worth a try, but we won't be making it again.

I recently made this for a large group of hungry guys. I was a little skeptical (it seems almost too simple!). Needless to say, they ate two sandwiches a piece, and after I ran out, they were all begging for the recipe. I almost wish is was harder to make so I looked better! : ) I changed it slightly--I cooked the chicken for 5 hours on low, then I shredded it and then I placed it back in the slow cooker for an hour or so just to let all the flavors penetrate the whole chicken breast. I served it with the sauce, blue cheese, and ranch on the side and the boys went CRAZY for it! Thanks for the great (and easy) recipe!

This was a good easy recipe. I made it exactly as shown. I felt like it needed a little something. I poured a little blue cheese dressing on my sandwich, which I thought helped. Maybe I'll try some different sauces, too. It's definitely a keeper, but one I think I'll monkey around with a little to get it more to my liking. Thanks for posting!

Really really good! I used 7 breast halves instead of 4, and it made enough for 6 or 7 sandwiches, so I'm glad I did. plus it was really soupy and If I hadnt used that much chicken it might not have turned out that well. I also didnt have to cook it for 7 hours. I dont know if my crock is hotter than normal, but it was on the low setting and ready in about 4.5 hours. Either way, really good, will be making again!

This was super easy and very good. I used about a half a bottle of a non-hot wing sauce and used an entire dry packet of the hidden valley ranch dressing mix. I also added two "to go" packages of Dave's Sassy Barbeque Sauce - they probably have about a tablespoon each in the packages - to the mixture. Put this on a toasted roll. It was SO good! Thanks so much for the recipe - I'll be making it again and sharing it with my (grown) kids.

This was SO GOOD! I did cut the spicy by diluting the Frank's redhot wing sauce with chicken stock and a packet of ranch dressing mix for the first 2.5 hours. I then drained the chicken, added butter, new hot sauce, and 1/2 a new packet of ranch dressing mix- I also shredded the chicken at this point. Cooked for another 2 hours and it was perfect! THANK you for this recipe idea and this is in the rotation - especially for football Sundays...Can't wait to try the leftovers on pizza...

Hmmmm. I know many reviewers have been quite impressed with this, but I wasn't :-( My fiance and I were invited to a friends house to watch yesterday's U of IA vs. Ohio State football game and I wanted to bring something to "munch" on. Buffalo wings are usually a good game watching food, but I don't like them. When I saw this recipe, I thought it would be perfect - and filling! I guess I just don't care for the sandwich idea.... On second thought, when I go to BWW or Hooter's, I usually don't order "plain" (boneless) wings - I go for spicy garlic, mango habanero, etc. The hot sauce taste (I used Pete's wing sauce) was overwhelming, IMHO. I was hoping to taste a bit of 'zing' from the Ranch, but it was nonexistent (there doesn't seem to be much point in adding it... perhaps adding the entire packet would do the trick???). I also think that had I had toasted my kaiser rolls so they weren't so soft (which is great for hamburgers, but not for this; it just soaded thru the bun) these would have been better???? Oh, and I topped my sandwich with blue cheese dressing, but didn't really care for that either. I'm glad I didn't go thru the trouble of making it homemade. I might make this in the future (prep couldn't be easier - and frozen chicken breasts work great in the sc!) for buffalo chicken pizza, but wouldn't again if not for that. Thanks anyways :)

These were really good, I only used about 1/2 the 17.5 oz bottle of Frank's and I think that was perfect. I would only cook for about 5 hours that's all it needs. We put mozzarella and ranch on top..really good and easy!
