I followed Jillybeans suggestions except for doubling the sauce and this was sooo good. This is the recipe I will use from now on.

Out of this world. The meat will come out tender no matter what cut of meat you use. Try this recipe, you will not be disappointed. I added fresh mushrooms that I had cooked in a little butter and added them at the end.

This a great and easy meal. I added a cup of red wine, fresh mushrooms, and garlic. It was great and the family loved it.

So amazing. I did follow the advice of some and made some changes. I added salt and pepper, onion soup mix, and a boullion cube. Also, I added fresh mushrooms, and served it over egg noodles. I also cooked it on low for 6 hours. I was a little paranoid about cooking it too long, but I think next time I will cook it longer because the meat was a little tough. The flavor was really good, and I had the leftovers the next day. This will go into the regular rotation.

I doubled this recipe, added a minced clove of garlic and used a good sirloin cut. If you are a loyal stroganoff person you wont be overly impressed. My kids did like it, but my husband and I preferred the original. We still added sourcream because cream cheese did not give it the added tang we like. It was good for a crock pot recipe but if you are a loyal stroganoff person you wont be overly impressed.

quick, easy and tasty. I just used fat free sour cream instead of the cream cheese. It worked well!

Bland?! This was anything but that. I just made it this evening and the pickiest eater in my life, my nephew, had two servings! I also followed the tips from the reviews and it was de-li-cious!

Me N Mine did NOT care for this at all-I followed the recipe N advice of others N it still came out very bland-Will not make again-I thought however that it was a very simple recipe and easy 2 execute but did not suit our taste buds.

So Good!! Cooked overnight on low in the crock pot. I left it on warm until dinner time. Doubled the recipe since I only had a 2 1/2 lb roast instead of the stew meat. But, really good anyways.

I was looking forward to making this, not only because it was easy but because the reviews made it seem so great. I followed JillyBean’s suggestions and I must admit I am very disappointed. Doubling the sauce, but leaving the cream cheese the same makes it almost impossible to taste the cream cheese. Same for the worchestershire sauce. Frankly, the whole thing just tastes like onion soup mix. I wouldn’t make this again.

Yum. This isn't hard. Double the recipe like others have suggested. I don't use fresh onions. A half of a packet of the onion soup mix works very well. I have made this at least 5 times now. If you don't double it the ingredients dry out in the crock pot.

I love this recipe. At first, I was reluctant to use cream because I have always used sour cream but trust me, the cream cheese "hits the spot" more than the sour cream. Just way better, In my opinion.

I followed the instructions fairly closely, and it turned out WONDERFULLY! I did add some sauteed mushrooms and a dollop of sour cream along with the cream cheese. With a glass of red wine, this was a real winner.

Yummy! I used both sour cream and cream cheese. Added Dijon mustard and some beef boullion. Used only fresh sliced mushrooms, added 1/2 cup of brewed coffee and 1/4 cup red wine in the crock pot to make more liquid for extra sauce. Still not as good as Grandma used to make, and I doubt I will ever find anything as good.
