This was ok. I followed Jillian's recommendations, and although it turned out ok and was very easy to put together I probably will look for another recipe to try as well. I did, because of time, have to cook on high..will try again one day cooking all day and see if it is better!

So easy and wonderful. I did add sour cream for the extra zip, and I sauteed fresh mushrooms and added them at the end.

This was the best stroganoff i've ever tasted. The cream cheese give it a nice smooth flavor. Not like the sour cream which I always thought was a bit too tart. I used 2 pounds of stew meat, but did not double the ingredients and it turned out great. My son and his friend even liked it!

This is so awesome and so easy. I used red wine (merlot) in place of the water which is always delightful with red meat. And just as a personal preference I used 4oz. of sour cream instead of cream cheese and also added parsley when adding the sour cream to make it look pretty. Oh, and please add mushrooms or you will kick yourself. I served mine on rice but I can't wait to try on noodles.

First off here are the changes I made (1st time making it and I doubled the recipe): Used 2 pounds of london broil (cubed), 1 can of Golden Mushroom & 1 can of Cream of Onion Soups, 1 cup small diced onion, 1T Worcestershire, 1/2 cup of water, 2T minced garlic, 1 beef bullion cube, and 1 can sliced mushrooms (drained the water). At the end I added 5 ounces low-fat cream cheese and 1T cornstarch + 2T water. Served over buttered egg noodles. **Result** The sauce was a bit too thick (although I wanted a thicker sauce). The meat was wonderful but something was a bit off.. it was missing something that I couldn't pin-point. It was great as leftovers too. I will make again if I can figure out what was missing :)

I loved this recipe. Though instead of stew meat I use stir fry meat and it seems to be more tender. Also I use cream of mushroom instead of the golden mushroom. My whole family loves this dish.

Made this last night for my husband and some friends, everyone loved it! A great recipe for people (like me) who can't make anything with more that 5 ingredients lol. I doubled the recipe, used 3 cans of golden mushroom, beef broth instead of water. Put in pepper and two cloves of garlic, and used 8 oz of cream cheese and about 2 oz of sour cream right before serving. OH and you can't forget the mushrooms! With a bottle of Merlot...Perfect!

this recipe was delicious. I added sauteed mushrooms at the end and the only thing I can say is that I wish I had added more. Also next time I wam going to sub greek yogurt for the cream cheese so its a little healthier

I'm sorry to only give this a three. I followed directions except I added some red wine to the meat to make it more tendor. I did add some dry french onion soup as one poster suggested. I don't think I would do that again. I will make this again but not with stew meat. I think this calls for a much better peice of meat.

Yum! I used ground turkey instead of stew meat, browned it with the onions and paprika, and threw it in the slow cooker with the golden mushroom soup. It smelled so good when I got home! I added the cream cheese and I happened to have some sour cream so I tossed that in there as well. This is some of the easiest and best stroganoff I've had at home!

OK , please someone tell me what I did wrong?? I followed the directions and used the golden mushroom soup but instead of mine looking brown when finished, it was a orange color like it had cheese added to it. HELP!!??

Made as directed except I used sour cream instead of the cream cheese. My family loved it and was happily surprised with the chunky stew meat vs the ordinary think steak you usually use in beef stroganoff. Will make again.
