This is a very easy very tasty recipe. My family and I however enjoy more "gravy" so we double up on all the ingredients except the meat. We also use regular cream of mushroom soup and simply add 1 tsp of beef Better than Bouillon. Thanks for the recipe it's definitely a keeper!

It was just okay. It got kinda burned, and the meat was just pulverized. I think I will stick to making my stroganoff w/o the slow cooker.

Doubled the soup and added some onion soup mix as many suggested. I thought it was quite good. The kids liked it more than I for some reason. Will make again though.

I don't think I have ever left a review, but this one deserves it! This was the best best stroganoff I have ever had. I followed the advice of Momsavedbygrace and Jillybean14 and doubled the meat, and soup. I used 2 cups of onions, diced very fine, light cream cheese, 1/4 c reduced fat sour cream and a whole packet of Lipton Beefy Onion Soup Mix. I sauteed 24 oz of mushrooms, drained the liqiud, and added it in the last 1/2 hour. I also added 2 TBLS cornstarch 10 minutes before I added the cream cheese and sour cream. Served over whole wheat egg noodles and it was so delicious! Thanks for a great starting point, Jessica, and thank you to the reviewers who modified!

This was alright...maybe too much cream cheese? Or maybe I am not a big fan of cream cheese...it was too domineering in taste.

very good! I used a pound and a half of cubed stew meat. I browned the seasoned meat before adding it into the slow cooker. I s&p and rubbed it with minced garlic for the seasoning. I doubled the sauce, kept the cream cheese the same, and added 1/2 cup of sour cream at the end. I cooked it on low for 6 hours and when I stirred it the meat fell apart in tiny pieces. It was really good!

Fantastic! I doubled the sauce as many posted but left the cream cheese and worcestershire sauce the same, added a tablespoon of sour cream as well and fresh mushrooms during the last 30 minutes of cooking. I also left this for 5½ hours on low, no need to leave it on for 8 as the original instructions say. Oh, and don't forget to season the meat before you add it to the cooker.
