I thought this was WONDERFUL. Smelled SO good while it was cooking and tasted just as yummy when it was done. Doubled Golden Mushroom soup, added garlic and sauteed baby portebella mushrooms 30 minutes before done. This will be a regular in my household. Great recipe!

I think the recipe was fine. I made all the modifications. Just not my families favorite type of meal. I would still recommend it as a TRADITIONAL type of meal.

This was a very easy and tasty meal. My husband said it was OK and when I asked if I should make it again he said "if you want to". Which means he wasn't thrilled. BUT he actually ate it, so that's a good sign!

AWESOME! Some minor adjustments I made....I doubled the mushroom soup and worchestershire sauce and onion. I also used an entire bar of lowfat cream cheese and added a small can of mushrooms. Then I served over rotini noodles. It was fantastic. This will be one of my regulars from now on.

Very Tasty, It only took about 5 1/2 hours in the slow cooker on low, and I too doubled the Golden Mushroom and Water. I used less cream cheese and more sour cream because I noticed the cream cheese had a hard time breaking down. I may use a little less onion next time. But over all I am very please and would make this again. Thanks!

Had a good taste, but I am not fond of mushrooms (I can handle the tiny ones in cream of mushroom and I like the flavor of the soups, just not the big sized mushrooms). I substituted beef broth for the water and added about 1/3 packet of onion soup mix. I like my stroganoff to be more runny, I guess gravy-like, so I would add more beef broth.

Tastes very little like actual stroganoff. I think it's a recipe children might like, but I didn't.

Yum- tasted better on day 2 after being in the fridge. Added the onion soup, pint of sliced/cooked fresh mushrooms (a must - right before serving) and dollop of sour cream as suggested.

I followed Jillybeans suggestions except for doubling the sauce and this was sooo good. This is the recipe I will use from now on.

Out of this world. The meat will come out tender no matter what cut of meat you use. Try this recipe, you will not be disappointed. I added fresh mushrooms that I had cooked in a little butter and added them at the end.

So amazing. I did follow the advice of some and made some changes. I added salt and pepper, onion soup mix, and a boullion cube. Also, I added fresh mushrooms, and served it over egg noodles. I also cooked it on low for 6 hours. I was a little paranoid about cooking it too long, but I think next time I will cook it longer because the meat was a little tough. The flavor was really good, and I had the leftovers the next day. This will go into the regular rotation.

I doubled this recipe, added a minced clove of garlic and used a good sirloin cut. If you are a loyal stroganoff person you wont be overly impressed. My kids did like it, but my husband and I preferred the original. We still added sourcream because cream cheese did not give it the added tang we like. It was good for a crock pot recipe but if you are a loyal stroganoff person you wont be overly impressed.

quick, easy and tasty. I just used fat free sour cream instead of the cream cheese. It worked well!

Bland?! This was anything but that. I just made it this evening and the pickiest eater in my life, my nephew, had two servings! I also followed the tips from the reviews and it was de-li-cious!
