Tasty. Made a few changes, as I always do. Use 2 lbs of meat instead of 3, 3/4 cup merlot instead of a 1/4 c), added 1 packet Montreal Steak seasoning some to the the flour and the rest to the stew itself (if you add this.. you can eliminate the pepper). I also added a few shots of worcestershire sauce and 2 bay leaves. Oh, I also only used the powder from the onion soup mix not the dried onions (use the beefy onion soup mix, gives it a little extra beef flavor). Threw it in crock pot for 8 hours, yummy!!!
