We all enjoyed this receipe very much. I was hard keeping my family out of the crock pot for 24 hours though......it smelled so good! I made a few alterations.....just to spice it up a bit: 1 - 2 Tsps of Season All 1/4 Tsp of dried Rosemary 1/2 - 1 Tsp of Cheyenne I mixed together a can of beef broth and a tbs of flour and added it the next morning to thicken it up a bit Great Receipe.....we loved it!

Tasty recipe. Try using 2 - 2 1/2 lbs of beef & add more vegies & the recipe will be a winner.

Definately let this cook over night. I used sirlion tips instead of stew meat. I left out the mushrooms and celery since my famliy does not like them. I also thinkened it up by taking about a 1/2 cup of the stock out an hour before eating. I let it cool, added two tablespoons cornstarch to that and mixed well and then added back to the stew. It was delicous!

I was a terrible cook. Then I found this site. Then I made this recipe. This recipe is so easy, it changed my life. I am no longer "afraid" to cook. My husband said "This is really good... And I don't just mean for "you" (to have made). Now I'm cooking 4 times a week and I owe it all to Mary and this easy recipe. Thank you!

THis was yummy, I did add some flour to thicken itr up a little , and it was really delicious! I love being able to throw stuff into a crock pot and have dinner ready when I get home! A big hit!!!

I thought this was a little bland, but a great meal for busy families. Just add everything to the crockpot the night before & let it cook. I think I would add some seasonings next time I prepare it.
