Let me start off by saying I never have any luck with anything to do with roast. It always turns out tough. WIth this, I used a chuck roast and followed the recipe to the "T". However, my roast did not shred like I thought it should. It was more of a sliced roast beef. It could have something to do with the power being off for 2 hours during the afternoon. Overall, just so-so.
