This is a great recipe! I've made it a handful of times; my husband loves it. I substitute 1 cup of bbq sauce for 1 cup of ketchup and have found using a thai sweet chilli tastes really good too. The best part is that it's quick and easy. I can make it the night before or in the morning before work. Coming home to the smell of cooked ribs... mmm, so good.

We thought these were very good. I did take the advice of another reviewer and used KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce instead of all of the other ingredients. I did bake in the oven as the recipe directed and I thought that was a good thing. I also rubbed quite a few spices and seasonings on the ribs before baking--garlic, salt, pepper, etc. Cooking ribs in the crockpot makes the meat just fall off the bone and my family was loving it!! We'll definitely be making this again.

I LOVE this recipe!!! I used boneless baby back ribs and took the advice from others and let them carmelize in the oven for about 15 minutes at the end. I did not have any floating grease on my ribs. I also used Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce instead. Thanks!

These were excellent! For the non-pork eaters in my family, I added some small cuts of beef steaks to the pot to cook along with the ribs. Everyone was pleased and all sampled the pork after hearing how delicious it was, agreeing it was better than any NYC BBQ place! Thanks for the recipe.

I did not like this recipe at all. I aged 30 years just at the taste of the vinegar in it. Very strong. If you must make this recipe use a bit less vinegar. I won't attempt this again though. The other flavors weren't anything special.

BRAVO! Not only do I NOT enjoy cooking, I am a terrible cook. These ribs were simple & fabulous. I followed the recipe word for word. My husband was extremely impressed. I only wish I could have taken credit. Thank you, April

Concept of this was very good and the ribs were "fall off the bone" I also enjoyed the flavour of the sauce as is and did not find it to sweet. I did however find that the sauce started to burn in the slowcooker around the 7th hour....just something to watch out for.

I followed others suggestion and did not use that much ketchup. i added bottle of bbq sauce. i guess the flavor will depend on the bbq sauce you buy. This was overall good, but i will make again trying different flavors. very yummy.

These didn't work for us at all. There was a huge pool of grease floating on top of the BBQ sauce that I had to keep spooning off into a coffee can. Once they came out, they still seemed greasy. It seemed like the meat was infused with all that oil. I don't think I'll cook ribs this way ever again.

I did not actually try these but made them for others. They really liked them but did think they were a little too sweet. I tasted the sauce and agreed. I had never made ribs before and thought that the prep was a as easy and quick as it comes. Also, the ones that had them did say they were very tender. I will make them again but omit the sugar. Thanks!
