These were easy to make and great to eat! My husband and 4 year old loved them. I gave it 5 stars because of taste and especially because of the ease of preparation. I am always looking for easy meals to make in the crock-pot to accomodate a busy schedule and this one will be made again. I did use "Big Al's KC BBQ sauce" recipe from this website in place of the bbq sauce from this recipe. It was delicious too. I had to use St. Louis style ribs because my store was out of baby back ribs. It worked just fine and was a lot less expensive too. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

I layered the ribs and poured sauce over each layer. When they were done, some of the sauce slid off and the ones in the bottom were falling apart. I took another persons advise and put on a shallow pan and broiled in the oven for a few minutes and also spooned some of the sauce over before doing this. They were wonderful and one of the best things was that there was no "indigestion" afterward--a real plus! I had 6 people for dinner and everyone loved them. Not sure I would slow cook them again but instead slow cook in the oven basting frequently.

As stated by others, how it is cooked makes it a 5 star. I heeded the advice of others and did not use BBQ sauce recipe, instead for BBQ sauce, I used store bought "Sweet Baby Rays" Original. I used the whole 28oz bottle. The meat just falls off the bone. Soooo yummy! 8 Hour slow cooked was perfect.

My husband was very noisy eating it.. hard to sit near him. He was in heaven. The only changes I made was, 1 cup of Sweet Ray's BBQ Sauce, (usually make my own, but didn't have time) a 1/2 cup of ketchup, and 1/2 cup of a sesame ginger dressing I got at Trader Joe's, though did not add any vinegar. Very tasty, and loved the aroma in the house!

Loved it. Of course, like the others substituted the ketchup, plus subbed the chili sauce. Replaced the ketchup with bbq sauce and the chili sauce with ketchup. We were all fishing in the cooker for remaining ribs because they were so fantastic! I used beef ribs.

This was the first time I made ribs in the slow cooker, they were awesome. I used country style pork ribs,1 cup of bottled bbq sauce 1/2 cup ketchup 1 tbsp.of Worcester sauce and 1 tbsp of brown sugar and i grilled them after I slow cooked them instead of baking them before just to get grill marks on them. these were the best ribs Ive ever made and Ive made lots of ribs.

Fabulous! Cut the recipe in half, as I was only cooking for my boyfriend and I. Followed it pretty much exactly, minus the hot sauce, as we didn't have any. After about 5 hours, I went to check on it and it was falling off the bone! Took it out of the crock pot and put it back in the oven on 375 for 20 min to allow the sauce to thicken...and voila! SOO GOOD! Thanks so much for this easy and delicious recipe! It was my first time using my crock pot and I couldn't have asked for anything better!

These were really good! I seasoned the ribs with sea salt, pepper, oregano, paprika & garlic powder. I used Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce, as I was out of chili sauce(everything else as written). When the ribs were done, the sauce was really thin, so I put the ribs on a foil covered cookie sheet, topped with Sweet Baby Ray's & broiled until sauce was bubbly. This isn't a recipe I'd fix often, but thoroughly enjoy when I do:) Thanks for sharing!

This was my first attempt to ribs and it was amazingly good and tasty. I made some modification as other reviewer suggested but kept the ketchup. I used 2C of ketchup, 1 cup of bbq sauce (molasse based) no chilli sauce, used red wine vinegar and fresh oregano. After about 7hours of slow cooking, as other said, the sauce is very liquid so I placed the rib on a cookie plate and added some "fresh" sauce over it (the recipes have way more sauce then you need) and in the oven for 20-25 minutes to get a caramelized coating. This was more then good, I will re-do it again for sure. It beat all rib i've eaten in restaurant. 4 stars because, as other said, I modified the recipes a little bit but kept most of it as-is. You have to try this! I'm not a slow cooker lover but this is the way to go for tender rib that litteraly melt in your mouth. Thanks for sharing this with us! :)

Oh, my, oh, my was this tasty! Fight'cha mama good! I'd say it stood up to the best BBQ joint's ribs. My modifications (I made a half recipe, as my slow cooker isn't that big): 1 cup BBQ sauce, 1/2 cup ketchup, thyme instead of oregano and chili powder instead of chili sauce (didn't have it...don't really know what it is). The rest (brown sugar, vinegar, hot sauce, etc.) the same.

Sauce was very good. The only thing I changed was used 1 cup of bbq sauce in place of the chili sauce. Only because I didn't have the chili sauce. I like my sauces thick and this wasn't as thick as it looks in the picture, but the sauce still stayed on the ribs. Will make this again. Thanks!!!!!

My family just loved this recipe. Like others' suggestions, made my own 2 c. of barbacue sauce + 1/2 c. of commercial source. Also simmered for 20 minutes with 4-5 cloves of garlic and did add more garlic cloves than suggested by the original recipe + using red wine vinegar in lieu of reg vinegar. Soooo yummy!

Fantastic recipe! Here are a few changes I made... Instead of 2 cups ketchup, I used 1 cup ketchup and 1 cup bbq sauce. Instead of 1 cup chili sauce, I used 1/2 cup chili sauce and 1/2 cup white wine. These ribs can be marinated over night and done on the grill as well!

We used country-style ribs and kind of made some sort of mash up as far as the sauce is concerned. We put in BBQ sauce and a little bit ketchup + all of the other ingredients; it turned out great. By the time these were in the slow cooker the entire time they were just falling apart.
